Hello there my love.
I want you to stop what you're doing.
Whatever you're doing now,
Just stop and listen to my voice.
I want you to go and find a quiet space.
Go on.
Go and find a room.
A quiet,
Unoccupied room.
Walk in and close the door behind you.
Perhaps there's a comfy chair in there or a bed or even a cushion on the floor.
You'll know what you need to do.
Go and take a seat.
And in this quiet space,
I want you to make yourself comfortable.
You have my permission to let it all go.
To know that everything outside of this room is packed away.
And for the next few moments,
All you need to do is listen to my voice.
Now take a deep breath in through your nose.
Out your mouth with a sigh.
Do that again.
Breathe in.
And breathe out.
Let it all go.
And get yourself comfortable.
As you close your eyes,
I want you to drop your shoulders down away from those ears.
I want you to relax your hands.
Rest them on your lap or on your thighs.
And just unclench that jaw for just a moment.
Soften your lips.
Let your face rest.
No tension.
Just be.
And let your breath just find a natural rhythm.
As we sit here together,
I will guide you on a journey.
We will go someplace else.
We will go inwards.
As the world outside is waiting,
We will journey home.
I want you to take your right hand and place it over your heart.
That's right.
Over your heart.
And just feel that contact with the palm of your hand and your chest.
Really sense the warmth.
And what does that feel like?
With complete compassion,
Let's just accept wherever we're at right now,
Today.
We are not going to try and block out uncertainty,
Fear or doubt.
Not today.
We can live there,
But we are going to invite in compassion and love and nurturing.
Let that come in through the palm of your right hand directly into this emotional centre of your being,
Your heart chakra.
Take a big breath into the palm of your hand and relax.
You can rest your hand down in your lap now.
And I want you to imagine that we're walking down a corridor together.
There's timber floors and it smells this fragrant light wood.
And as you walk with bare feet on this warm wooden floor,
We see a door at the end of the corridor.
We walk through the door and what is before you is what looks like a cocoon.
You're walking towards this really comfortable looking sleeping bag.
And I want you to imagine that you are getting inside,
Slipping inside of this very down feather filled fluffy sleeping bag.
And it feels so exquisite.
You just zip it right up and you don't want to leave.
It feels so good to be cocooned in this beautiful warm snuggly space.
And as you settle yourself into this,
You begin to think,
I don't think I want to leave here.
I just want to stay here forever.
This is so sublime.
Your body relaxes a little more as you sink into this comfort.
And you start to notice that this is a place of transformation.
I am going to say goodbye now to old ways,
Past memories,
Paradigms that did not work.
This is an opportunity where I am growing new life and I'm going to stay in here.
And I'm going to feel like these arms are around me.
And while this is happening,
Just imagine that your own bones are dissolving.
And new growth is occurring.
As you feel this cycle of this rebirth hovering in a liminal space of potential.
That while you are in this cocoon,
All is well and safe.
Change is occurring in stillness,
In silence,
And inside your own home.
Knowing that this is very natural and this place you can hover for as long as you need.
As long as you need to stay,
You know that you're being protected,
Camouflaged and hidden.
It's time to enter your cocoon while your new wings are being built.
It is blissful here.
There's nowhere to go.
There's nobody to see.
Nothing to do.
But just be.
This is the time when your soul rejoices.
At last,
You have let go of your plans,
Your personal agenda,
Your need to control your life.
All of that is gone now.
Your soul is rejoicing.
This is my time,
It says,
Because you never had control in the first place.
This is my time.
Let the old illusions and stories that we tell ourselves slip away.
As we're invited in,
We're invited back home to being.
As time moves,
All changes happen.
All life continues.
And we are born and we die with every breath that we take.
Just relax even deeper.
Let your imagination picture an earth that is clean,
That is fresh,
That is not producing,
But just breathing life back into its own nature.
And now,
As you are safe and tucked away,
We say this prayer.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you for relieving this burden of thinking that I had to control my life.
Thank you.
Thank you for offering me humility.
I know now that this is the ultimate shield of your protection.
Thank you for this opportunity to be with myself in my home,
Surrounded by people that love me.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Now,
I want you to put your hands,
Both of them on your heart.
Bow your head into yourself.
And remember this place that you can return to.
Whenever you need your own cocoon.
So much love to you.
