Hi,
My name is Tim Mori.
This is a short meditation based on the five Reiki principles.
It's designed to be shortened meditation.
You can use at any time of the day,
Maybe when you wake up or when you go to sleep or throughout any point of the day.
You just need that break in the stream of thoughts and actions and behaviors.
Just find a comfortable position.
Whatever works for you.
Just take a few short moments just to feel that comfort.
Adjust your position as you need to.
You could be sat down,
Lying down,
Perhaps even stood up as comfortable as you can be.
And free just for a moment.
Not many disturbances.
But if any disturbances happen,
That's okay.
Now you're comfortable.
Just take a few breaths and focusing on your breathing through your nose to fill your stomach with your breathing.
Just take a deep breath in.
Hold it for a moment.
And then a breath out.
Now this time when we breathe in,
Imagine all the energy of the universe entering through your crown chakra,
Top of your head,
Entering your body and filling up the stomach as you breathe in.
And then as you hold it,
The energy rushes through your body,
Energizing and rejuvenating and healing every cell.
And then as you breathe out,
Release anything you don't need right now.
And that could be releasing thoughts,
Tensions,
Impulses,
Anything you don't need right now.
So breathing in the light and energy of the universe.
Filling your belly,
Holding onto it just for a moment,
Feeling the rejuvenation.
And then letting go,
Letting all the things you don't need out.
So let's begin the meditation.
Just relaxing your attention now,
Just noticing your breath coming in and out and listening to my voice guiding you.
Now onto the Reiki principles.
They're just guiding principles.
By following them can lead to a more peaceful,
Happy moments of joy during the day.
So let go of thoughts of anger and judgment.
If you notice them arise,
Just let them go.
Let go of thoughts of worry.
Be grateful for every experience,
Even the ones that maybe you don't enjoy,
The ones that are not too pleasant.
Just be grateful for them,
Acknowledge them and be grateful for them.
For they're part of the contrasts of our lives.
Be mindful,
Become aware of your thoughts and how they trigger feelings and sometimes trigger actions and impulses.
Be mindful and practice observing and noticing how your thoughts affect your feelings and your body and your actions.
Be kind and gentle to yourself and others.
Sometimes just by noticing our thoughts,
We can notice if we're being unkind or kind to others.
Just be kind and gentle to yourself and to others.
And as these principles are being taught,
These principles soak into your mind.
Just take a deep breath in and breathe in all this good energy and healthfulness.
And breathe out.
And remind yourself of the good energy that you have.
Let go of thoughts of anger and judgment.
Let go of thoughts of worry.
Be grateful for every experience.
Be mindful and practice and be kind and gentle to yourself and others.
And as this meditation comes to an end,
Just know that the five Reiki principles will work within your mind.
And sometimes you'll be aware of them,
And other times you won't.
But that's okay.
