This meditation is a grounding meditation intended to calm anxiety and create a greater sense of security from within.
Let's begin.
Find a comfortable seat.
Lengthen your spine.
Begin to connect with your breath.
Allow yourself to just settle here.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Allow your shoulders to release.
Relax your jaw.
Bring your awareness to the base of your spine.
Feel the base of your spine supported by the chair.
Allow yourself to feel this root.
This secure base from within you.
Begin to breathe into the space in the center of your chest,
The heart center.
Just breathing in and breathing out.
Connecting with the most compassionate part of yourself,
Your calm,
Confident center.
Now imagine a beautiful column of light entering through your crown,
All the way through the length of your spine,
Through the root,
And all the way deep into the earth.
Almost as if the base of your spine grows with this light.
Connect deep roots into the ground,
Deep into the earth.
Imagine these roots spreading out deep into the earth,
Connecting with the center of the earth.
Allowing you to feel securely held,
Connected with all that is.
Breathing in now this beautiful grounded earth energy up through these roots,
Through the base of your spine.
And then exhaling any fear or feelings of insecurity back down into the earth.
Again,
Breathing in this earth energy,
This grounded energy.
And then exhaling out any fears,
Any anxiety.
Continuing this process,
Allowing yourself to become more and more grounded with each breath.
I am securely held.
I am guided and protected at all times.
Money flows to me with ease.
I have opportunities to share my wisdom and gifts at all times.
Breathing that in now,
Letting it settle in your heart,
In your root.
I am securely held.
I am guided and protected at all times.
Money flows to me with ease.
I have opportunities to share my wisdom and gifts at all times.
Deep breath in and exhale out.
I am securely held.
I am guided and protected at all times.
Money flows to me with ease.
I have opportunities to share my wisdom and gifts at all times.
As you let these words settle in,
Perhaps place your hands on your heart or one on your heart and one on your low belly.
Feeling a sense of calm,
Grounded security deep within you.
Guided and protected.
You have been given gifts that are meant to be shared.
There will always be opportunities to share them.
Taking a deep breath in all the way from the base of the spine all the way up to the crown of the head.
Holding at the top for just a moment.
Exhale that all the way out.
One more just like that.
Deep breath in.
Hold at the top.
Now imagine in your mind's eye walking through the rest of your day from this place of grounded security.
Notice how it feels in your body.
How you carry yourself with calm confidence.
Notice how you interact.
Sending you so much love and security.
