Ancient Wisdom 8: The Great Transformation

The indigenous elders have long talked about the Great Transformation that has lasted thousands of years of Earth's history. They have also talked about the Great Purification of 1975 to 2025. We are right at the end of that timeframe now and moving forward into a New Earth.

My name is Trevor Lewis and I'm here with Chris Largent, The founder of the Seventh Academy. Chris, How does the Great Transformation fit into your work with the Academy? Well, A lot of times people have a sense of what they're doing here based on history, That is the history of the planet. And if that's taken away, Or it's just meaningless, Then people will feel their lives are meaningless. But what you run into in a lot of old cultures is the idea that a great transformation started thousands and thousands of years ago. Depending on who you talk to, The average astronomer would say, Something really violent happened in this culture about 900, 000 years ago, And there are big changes happened because a lot of the planets moved out of town. Okay, Something happened here. The Hindu deity would be 864, 000 years ago. And the idea would be that there's this, Again, Go back to the atomistic, More warlike, Violent culture. You have the sense of, Okay, That's just not workable. And what you want to do is transform that into a much more partnership, Holistic path model that is more workable and more practical. Because people who are running, People who run cultures and they're dictators, They'll say, Well, We have to be concerned with the practical. Nothing practical about dictatorship. When I was doing consulting in Washington, I used to say to people who wanted to run the world, Have you guys looked at the job description for running the world? So over time, The idea is that the history of the earth, Without going into any details, Is this huge transformation from a more violent dominator society, Again, Using Raoul Eisner's distinction, To a more partnership society. And as a result, You get this, What it's experiencing, The earth is a raising of consciousness, Or people waking up or whatever. There are lots of ways of talking about, People will talk about ascension and awakening or higher spiritual awareness or higher consciousness or higher frequencies. But whatever it is, That's what's happening right now. And some Indigenous peoples that I happen to have the opportunity to work with said, The end of the great transformation is this last big stage, Which they referred to as the great purification from roughly 1975 to 2025. And they talked about the challenges and the controlling mentality to get more and more obvious. And people would say, Wow, This is not good. And just as a common example, You think if you were, Say, In the 1800s, In the early 1900s, And you said, So-and-so is an empire builder, You were giving somebody a compliment that they were controlling, But it was a compliment. But if you're in, Say, The 60s, 70s, 80s, And you say, Yeah, He runs a school board like it's his own empire, You're really insulting the person. You're really saying this person is just a pain in the neck dictator. And that's the sort of thing that the native elders said will start to come out. And they said, What will happen is that the transformation history, Because there are lots of histories, As you can imagine, Of any planet. The great transformation is just one of them. But it's one that says there are people involved in the transformation of a more violent awareness into a less violent awareness from a more kind of atomistic, I'm just paying attention to the bark on the trees to a consciousness that sees the whole forest as a bigger context, The bigger meaning to everything that the trees and the bark are doing. And that movement is something that we're seeing the last phase of it. How that's going to resolve, Of course, Is anybody's guess. Because the idea was when you get into the 21st century, Time is going to speed up. And even the native elders said, Keep an eye on the last five years of that. You're going to see the controlling mentality coming out of the woodwork. And people are going to be confronted with how do I respond to these? And again, When you have an atomistic, You have this, You have people butting their heads against each other. Well, You can do that all day long. It doesn't get you anywhere. I tried it once. You get sore hands at the end of the day. What happens is instead, If someone says, Well, How about lifting it up a level or having this higher approach, This kind of thing you do if your kids or two kids are fighting over something, And you say, Hi, Can we talk about, Say, Going to get ice cream or playing on the playground, Something else? So it's raising the thing up a level. It breaks that mesmerism of this dualistic approach, Which is its own rather controlling thought form. And in the great purification, The idea is it's higher consciousness. It's lifting the awareness. It's waking people up. It's higher frequency. Anyway we want to talk about it. And that's a big key, The elder said, To what's going to be happening right now is that higher consciousness. And it's worth saying, Chris, As we're recording this in October 2021, This of all the slides may undergo the greatest change or a greatest change of awareness as time moves forward from here. Yeah, That's a really good point. And especially because you think, OK, If you're doing, If it's a big path or a big adventure, These are tools that help us understand where we are, Just like the seasons can be a tool. But we're not terribly sure how it's going to play out. And that's why it's a big adventure. As a friend of mine who works with emotional intelligence, Emotional energetics says, Nobody is going to go to a movie and pay to watch somebody sitting there contentedly for two hours or two years. They want to see a big adventure because it's the pattern of the adventure that gives them this sense of, OK, What can I use from that as a tool? Thank you, Chris.
