All right,
So we're going to be going through a particular breath technique that can bring a lot of energy into your body.
So a really good one for the morning if you're kind of waking up a bit sleepy,
This breath can really bring in that energy and even focus that you need for the rest of your day.
It's also a good lunch pick-me-up if you're feeling a bit tired at the office.
And it's a very basic technique,
So essentially you just breathe in through your nose once and then top up that breath again and then breathe out through your mouth all the way down.
So that outer breath is really important because this is the sign to your parasympathetic nervous system that you are safe.
And then the breathing in through the nose really does get that sympathetic nervous system going,
So you're playing with both and therefore that's creating a lot of energy in your body.
So we'll do it for around a minute.
If you ever feel dizzy,
Just please go back to your normal breath.
But just see how you go,
Be open to the experience,
Maybe close down your eyes,
Leave your hands resting on your lap.
And we'll begin by just exhaling all the breath you have.
And we'll begin by breathing in.
A couple more.
And releasing.
Coming back to your own breath cycle here.
Maybe noticing the sensations it's created in your mind,
In your body.
Do you feel tingling?
Do you feel heat?
Do you feel coolness?
Just tapping into that.
Do you feel that energy circulating through your body,
Through your hands and arms and legs?
Taking some breaths in your own time here.
Landing back into the room.
Bring that heart rate down.
Peeling open the eyes when you feel ready.
Adjusting back into the space.
Well done everybody.
That can be quite an intense breath.
So just taking time to come back to the room and enjoying that energy throughout your day.
