The child within is the person you have become. Often as we were growing up, we didn't get our needs met so a part of us went into protection mode. That part of us continues to protect us now, yet gets no relief or recognition for the work it is doing. This track tells the child within it is safe to put down its burdens and allow freedom and love into your life. This meditation creates much-needed lightness and self-compassion within you.

So getting yourself comfortable,

Checking in with your body so checking in with your feet,

Checking in with your legs,

Checking in with your pelvis and your torso,

Your neck,

Your shoulders,

Your arms,

Your head.

Noticing any tensions or stresses,

Don't worry about putting labels on those,

Just notice that they're there.

Take a deep breath in through the nose and out through the nose.

Count of four in through the nose and a count of six out.

Breathing in,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Out,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six.

Breathing in,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Two,

Three,

Six.

Keeping that breathing pattern going and noticing how much your nervous system appreciates this still intentional breathing pattern.

Notice that it takes you to a still quiet place within you that is constant,

Is calm,

Is peaceful,

That is warm,

That is love.

Bringing down the beautiful golden ray,

Filling up your mind,

Closing all of the tabs,

Releasing all thoughts,

Beliefs,

Habits and behaviours.

No longer serve your high school,

Releasing them now.

Down into the third eye,

Cleaning and clearing your vision so that your intuition comes through clearly and obviously,

Compelling you to follow your intuition.

Down into your mouth and down into your throat,

Throat.

Clearing the way for you to speak your truth,

To stand in your truth,

To own who you are.

Down into your heart,

Down into your chest cavity,

Opening up that heart centre,

Feeling that heart centre open,

Feeling that beautiful golden light radiating out from that heart centre.

Down into your torso,

Down into your arms,

Down into your hands and into your pelvis.

Cleaning and clearing as it goes,

Continuing down your legs,

Into your calves,

Down through your ankles,

Into your feet and flowing away.

Down into the earth,

To be taken from you,

From Mother Earth,

To transmute into something beautiful.

Because that's what Mother Earth does,

She takes detritus and turns it into food for beautiful things to grow that nourish us.

Nothing we have ever experienced,

Nothing that's ever happened to us has been a waste.

Everything that's come our way,

Whether we perceive it as good or bad,

All has given us a gift,

All has given us something.

Just appreciate your body,

Appreciate your body for everything that it's been through.

Appreciate your body for keeping you going,

Keeping the breath coming in and out of your body,

Keeping your heart beating without you even thinking about it,

For digesting and taking nutrients from your food,

Feeding the cells in your body.

Without you having to send any mental attention to the function of your body at all.

Just be thankful to this vessel that carries you.

Very gently,

I want you to float yourself back and down your timeline.

So going back,

Back,

And just seeing as you're floating back some of the experiences that you had.

Without putting labels on them,

Without getting attached to them,

Just see them.

Floating yourself all the way back,

All the way back to the start.

And I want you to see yourself as that toddler,

As that optimistic,

Brave,

One-year-old,

18-month-old,

Two-year-old.

Think about how you were at that point in time where you were learning to walk.

The amount of times you fell over,

You still got up because you were determined to walk.

And you were not determined to walk for the approval of other people.

You were determined to walk.

And look at that little soul,

That little toddler,

Who is also learning to talk.

And that little toddler is not worried about getting it wrong.

That little toddler is not worried about how he's pronouncing his words.

They're not worried about how they're going to be perceived.

They want to learn to communicate through their voice.

And I want you to look at that toddler with absolute adoration.

Because that little toddler is you.

That little kid of determination.

That little kid is the one that got you to where you are today.

I want you to scoop up that little toddler with gratitude and with love and with pride.

Just take him along the journey.

Show him all of the things that she's enabled you to do.

Looking at the fun times.

Looking at the difficult times.

Looking at successes and the failures that you got up from.

Looking at the joy and the fun.

And just show this beautiful toddler what they have enabled you to become with gratitude and with love.

And bringing yourself and that toddler back to this point in time.

And show them your lifeline with gratitude and with love.

Allowing them to feel that pride.

That presence of self.

Filling that little one up with pride.

With self-satisfaction.

With self-admiration and compassion.

And with gratitude,

Allow that little one to go back to where they were.

Taking with them this pride,

Self-satisfaction,

Self-love.

I want you to notice that feeling within you also.

This self-admiration.

Honouring yourself.

Getting to where you are now.

Filling yourself up with self-love.

Gratitude for the endurance that you've possessed to get yourself to this point.

Appreciating exactly who you are.

And loving exactly who you are.

Feeling that in the centre of your body.

Knowing that that is you.

Feeling it emanate past your pores.

Filling up the room that you're in.

Just feeling that power.

That energy.

That alignment.

That softness within.

That love.

Notice what it feels like to sit in this space without the need to cling.

Knowing that you are all that you need.

Everything you need is within you.

Very gently.

Bringing yourself back into your body.

Checking in with your feet and with your legs.

With your bum and your torso and your shoulders and your head.

Making sure that you're fully back in your body.

Give yourself a wiggle.

Give yourself a stretch.

Give yourself a sigh.

A couple of those.

In through the nose.

Out through the mouth.

Ah.

Fully landed.

Ah.

Coming back to me.

And taking a drink of water.

If you've got some.

Making sure you're fully back here and now.

Welcome back everybody.
