Take a few moments to settle into your body,
Allowing your breath to become deep and relaxed.
Feel the natural rhythm of your breath as it moves in and out.
Notice any sensations that arise in the body without judgment.
Now bring your attention to the present moment.
Notice if there is any tension in your body and consciously allow it to relax.
Now begin to scan your body and feel any areas of tightness or discomfort.
As you do,
Visualize a warm healing energy entering your body and melting away any tension.
When you're ready,
Close your eyes and focus on your breath.
As you inhale,
Silently say the word,
Inhale.
And as you exhale,
Silently say the word,
Exhale.
Continue this for a few moments.
Next,
Focus on a single word or phrase that resonates with you.
The word could be anything from peace to calm to love.
As you inhale,
Silently repeat the word.
And as you exhale,
Silently repeat the word.
Continue this for a few moments.
Rest in stillness.
If any thoughts arise,
Simply observe them without judgment and let them drift away.
Stay in a state of stillness for as long as you'd like.
When you're ready,
Slowly bring your practice to an end and take a few moments to notice how you feel.
