Ho'oponopono,

Prayer for forgiveness and self-love.

Ho'oponopono,

Which means to make right,

Is an ancient Hawaiian practice made up of four transformational phrases.

I love you.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

Forgiving ourselves and others who we have hurt or who have hurt us releases any resentment,

Pain and guilt that we have held in our hearts.

Start with a nice deep breath in.

And out.

Take this time to connect to your higher power,

Whoever or whatever that means to you.

This entity could have any name,

Spirit,

Universe,

God.

Take another nice slow deep breath in.

And breathe in the energy of your higher power into your whole being.

Offer yourself the purest form of love and compassion,

Placing your hands over your heart or palms facing up.

Gently close your eyes.

Begin to repeat the following phrases either out loud or in your mind.

I love you.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

Breathe each word into your heart and exhale any negative energy or pain out.

This is a time for healing.

Repeat these phrases until the end of the meditation.

And I encourage you to journal and comment below about your experience if you feel guided.

Deep inhale in.

And out.

I love you.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.
