Grounding can help you connect back to yourself,
The earth,
And the present moment.
We are all one.
It allows you to cultivate inner safety,
Peace,
And ultimately a knowing that everything is going to be okay and you are protected.

Bring a gentle compassion and loving energy to yourself during this time.
And if you can,
I invite you to enjoy this practice outdoors,
Sitting on the grass,
At the beach,
Somewhere where you can connect with nature.
You can also sit in a chair with your feet firmly planted on the ground.
Once you are settled in a comfortable space,
Begin closing your eyes,
Bringing your attention to the natural rhythm of breath.
There is no need to alter or change your breathing.
Just be aware of the flow.
Counting down from 10,
Take a full deep breath in,
Exhaling the tension being held in your body.
9,
Nice slow deep breath in.
And on your exhale,
Feeling your body release more tension.

7,
Slow inhale in on 6.
Just noticing the stillness that is present.
5,
4,
3,
Feel your body becoming heavier as you begin to relax into this practice.

Taking one more deep breath,
Bring your awareness to the stillness and peace you are cultivating.
And quietly in your mind,
Repeat these following affirmations until the end of the meditation.
I am safe.
I am calm.
I am enough.
I am safe.

I am safe.
You're becoming more alert now.
Coming back slowly,
Begin to bring your attention back to the space you're in.
