Welcome to this daily morning journaling practice designed to help you make the most of Virgo energy.
Virgo season runs from approximately August 23 to September 22,
But you can use these prompts anytime you want to tap into the analytical energy of Virgo.
You also do not need to have been born under the sign of Virgo to benefit from these prompts.
Everyone can benefit from incorporating Virgo energy into their lives.
There are four journal prompts in this practice,
And they will focus on the key themes of Virgo season,
Which include deep examination of ourselves and the world around us,
Organization and attention to detail,
Overcoming perfectionism and overthinking,
And being of service.
You will journal on these prompts for two minutes each.
When 30 seconds remain,
I'll give you a cue to wrap things up.
If you want to write for longer,
Feel free to pause me or revisit the prompts again later.
There's no need to write in complete sentences or with perfect grammar.
Simply jot down whatever comes to mind for you in whatever form it comes in.
You could even feel free to doodle or draw,
Or if nothing comes up,
Simply sit and meditate on the question.
We'll begin with a short breathing practice to center ourselves before we write.
Go ahead and find a comfortable position for yourself to meditate and journal in today,
And have your journaling materials nearby.
You are welcome to close your eyes as we breathe together,
Or find a fixed point just ahead of you to gaze upon.
Begin by releasing any breath you are holding.
Then take a nice slow inhale,
And exhale,
Open mouth,
Sigh it out.
Inhale welcome in any insights from your soul,
Your highest self,
And your spirit team.
Exhale release any resistance you have to writing your truth today.
Let's do that together one more time.
Inhale welcome in insights,
And exhale release any resistance.
Continue to breathe at your own pace now,
In and out of your nose,
For a few more breaths.
Gently blink your eyes a few times to bring yourself back into your physical space,
Then go ahead and bring over your journaling materials.
Let's begin with our first prompt.
First,
How would I like to organize my day today?
Again,
How would I like to organize my day today?
Begin to wrap up your thoughts.
Second,
What would I like to give careful attention to today?
Again,
What would I like to give careful attention to today?
Release your final thoughts onto the page.
Third,
Where and how can I release perfectionism or overthinking today?
Again,
Where and how can I release perfectionism or overthinking today?
Capture your final thoughts.
And finally,
How can I better serve others today in a way that also serves me?
Again,
How can I better serve others today in a way that also serves me?
Let your final thoughts flow onto the page.
If you feel complete,
You can go ahead and place your journaling materials aside.
If you'd like to keep going,
Please feel free to do so.
With much love and gratitude,
I close our journaling practice for today.
