Good morning.

It's a new day.

It's a new beginning.

Everything that happened yesterday is behind us.

A mere memory.

And everything that's happening tomorrow is not yet here.

But today is.

And it's going to be a great day.

A day where we're connected to our breathing.

In through the nose.

And out through the mouth.

And a day where we're connected to people.

Noticing the little details about our loved ones.

About friends at school.

Or colleagues at work.

Where we're in tune with our shared humanity.

With our similarities rather than our differences.

And even if we've been feeling flat,

Unmotivated or uninspired.

We can take some steps to change that.

Starting right now.

It's all how we talk to ourselves.

Today is going to be the best day of my life so far.

Sitting here,

Waking up to the day.

Waking up to the present.

Transitioning softly from slumber to awareness.

This film is not sea-wirling.

Today is going to be the best day of my life so far.

I'm feeling a shift in the energy that's within.

Feeling a spark of hope and optimism with these few aspirational words.

Today is going to be the best day of my life so far.

Finding our breath more easily now.

Feeling the invigoration of cool air entering our nose,

Throat and lungs.

Today is going to be the best day of my life so far.

Becoming more and more alert and ready for the day.

Becoming more and more inspired.

That whatever's on our schedule,

We can tackle it with a lightness,

With a bounce and with a smile.

Today is going to be the best day of my life so far.

For the last few minutes of meditation,

Continue enjoying this affirmation.

Planting this seed of positive energy.

Repeating it mentally to yourself as you feel the breath and experience the spaciousness you've created.

And perhaps when you lay down to sleep tonight,

You'll reflect back on this day with gratitude.

That you were present for so many more moments.

That you smiled.

That you discovered the transformative power of your own narrative.

And you'll say to yourself,
