A Hello,
Welcome to Inner Strength Meditation.
Life is a beautiful journey that is not always easy.
No matter what kind of challenges or painful situations you go through in your life,
We all have something deep within us that we can reach down and find the inner strength to get through them.
Kintsugi is the Japanese art of putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold.
Build on the idea that it embracing flaws and imperfections so you can create an even stronger more beautiful piece of art.
Every brick is unique and instead of repairing an item like new,
It actually highlights the scars as a part of design.
I think we are the same.
Using this as a metaphor for healing ourselves teaches us an important lesson in the process of repairing things that have broken,
We actually create something more unique,
Beautiful and resilient.
With that being said,
Let's begin by finding a comfortable seated position,
Resting your hands on your knees and keep your palms open.
Now gently close your eyes and bring your attention to your breath.
Inhale deeply into your nose.
Inhale slowly out.
Inhale and a long breath out,
Relaxing your facial muscles.
Breathing deeply,
Exhale dropping your shoulders.
Inhale,
Exhale softening your chest and belly.
How is the mind today?
Notice what thoughts are here,
Where the mind might like to take you.
Dreaming,
Planning,
Perhaps daydreaming.
Just notice.
It's ok if your mind wanders away.
When it happens,
Just be aware of it and come back to the present moment.
Again and again.
This is the time that you dedicate to yourself.
Allow yourself to be here.
Slowly begin to let go of any worries,
Thoughts or to-do lists.
Just then fade away and leave your mind with each out breath.
Inhale deeply and a long exhale out.
Inhale,
Exhale and let go.
In this life everything has a purpose.
We all experience hard times.
All the difficulties we've been through either emotionally or physically help us to grow and understand ourselves in a deeper way.
It's worth remembering that the time of greatest gain in terms of wisdom and inner strength has often come with greatest difficulty.
All of us have been through similar circumstances at some point in our lives.
We have all experienced challenging times,
Hurts,
Disappointment or discourage.
But these are precious experiences that make you stronger.
And with all of them you are stronger than you think.
Don't let anything weaken you.
Let it make you a much stronger person in your life journey.
Inhale deeply,
Inviting the strength that is already within you.
And exhale,
Allowing yourself to accept it.
You can't control what's happening around you all the time.
But you can control the way you respond to what's happening.
That's where your power is.
You are fully in control of creating the happy and peaceful life you deserve.
Allow yourself to accept your power.
Take a deep inhale in,
Inviting the joy and happiness into your life.
And a big exhale out,
Letting go of anything that doesn't serve you.
And repeat with me,
Either in your mind or out loud.
I am strong.
I am peaceful.
I am wise.
Before we finish up the meditation,
Give yourself a little smile and thank yourself for taking this time to build wiser,
