It's hard to stay sane in a world where we expected to be better all the time.
We are bombarded with messages and expectations about every aspect of our lives.
From social media to movies we watch to the music we listen to.
We are told exactly what we should look like,
How much we should earn,
How we should parent,
How we should feel,
Even how we should love.
It's in our biology to trust what we see with our eyes or hear.
This carefully edited,
Overproduced and photoshopped world doesn't make our lives easier.
All of them trigger the vulnerable child inside us.
From the times they made us feel wrong,
Not smart enough,
Not beautiful enough or not worthy enough.
If you feel in this way,
Just know that you are not alone.
We are not alone.
But the good thing is,
You have decided to heal your inner child as you showed up here today.
So let's begin by finding a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
Just find what feels good.
And gently close your eyes.
Soften your jaw.
Drop your shoulders.
And tune into quality of your breaths.
Breathe in.
And breathe out.
Just let yourself to rest in your breaths.
Breathe in through your nose down to your belly.
And breathe out gently.
Let yourself to relax here.
And begin to allow yourself to explore what does it mean to be not enough.
Who decides that you are enough or not?
When do you feel it most?
With who?
Just take a couple of minutes to explore yourself,
To understand your thoughts,
Emotions a little bit more better.
And perhaps there are strong emotions coming up when you think that you are not enough.
Maybe there is jealousy,
Shame,
Fear or anger.
Without trying to change anything,
Just let your emotions come to surface.
Create the space for yourself to understand your emotions and what thoughts are creating those emotions.
You can even check in with your body and see where do you feel that emotion most.
As it in the stomach,
Like a punch in the stomach.
Or heaviness in the chest.
Perhaps stiffness on the shoulders.
Just observe yourself,
How do you respond?
This feeling,
These thoughts.
How does your body respond?
Your heart responds.
How would you feel if you hadn't had the thought of not being enough?
How would being enough make you feel?
Perhaps it would make you feel complete,
Happy or content.
Just imagine that you are complete enough and focus on your feelings.
No matter who you are,
What you have or haven't done,
We are all here on this earth for a reason.
We all have something to serve to greater good and we all contributed to the universe,
Humanity,
Environment in one way or another.
Remember,
We are all gifted.
Take a couple of minutes for yourself to think all the good qualities you have within you.
Breathe in all the good qualities you have.
Breathe out everything and everyone who made you feel that you are not enough.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Remember,
Each moment is an opportunity to transform and heal.
You have the power to reset your beliefs.
So repeat after me.
I have all that I need within me.
I am whole as I am.
I am capable of anything.
My light shines from within.
I am allowing my light to shine brightly.
All the good is coming my way and I am open to receive.
I am brilliant and I am brave.
I embrace my beauty.
I love myself.
I am enough and I always have been.

And slowly coming back to your breath,
Take the deepest breath yet for today in through your nose,
Down to your belly and exhale out through your mouth.
Breathe in.
Invite all the good qualities,
All the beauty around you and breathe out whatever doesn't serve you.
And when you feel ready,
You can gently open your eyes and welcome back.
