We pick up energy from people, places and things and store it deep within our bodies. Often times we hold subconscious connection to this energy. Join me as I guess you though a process to bring awareness to stagnant energy and blockages within your body.

Welcome to this guided energy body scan.

I invite you now to find a safe place where you can relax and allow yourself to be fully present.

Begin by closing your eyes and focusing on your breath.

Breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth.

I invite you to set your own intention right now as you bring your attention to your heart center.

Affirming within yourself that you have the power to shift however it is that you feel.

Start by rubbing your hands together,

Feeling the energy between them.

Pulling your hands apart.

Bringing your attention to any resistance.

And as you rub your hands together more and play with this energy space between them,

You may notice it feeling like a magnetic pull.

Moving your hands however you feel called to.

And noticing that there is energy within this blank space.

Breathe and shake your hands out.

Using this same energy I am going to guide you through a scan of your body.

Keeping your eyes closed,

Sit nice and tall.

And again take a deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.

Gently bring your hands above your head.

How close or how far,

Doesn't matter.

Just listening to your body.

Moving your hands down behind your head,

Along the side,

In front.

Allowing your hands to go wherever they are called to.

And asking yourself the question,

What about my head,

Face,

Neck,

Is being asked of me to listen?

Maybe you notice that something feels out of alignment in this space.

Ask what else do I need to know?

Acknowledge this and take a look at what your body is trying to tell you.

Perhaps you see colors,

Or feeling hot or cold sensations.

Maybe you are noticing darkness or light.

Or feeling the energy is stagnant or flowing.

Continue by asking yourself what can support in shifting this?

As you move your hands around your head,

Down to your neck,

Still listening.

Remembering to breathe.

Reminding yourself that your breath is your friend.

And asking it to show you where the stuck energy is.

If you are feeling something come up here in this space,

You can pause this meditation and grab your journal.

Asking yourself these three questions.

What did I notice?

What else is there for me to know?

And how do I shift this?

Or you can continue listening to this meditation and come back to it at the end.

If you are feeling something come up for you at any point in this meditation,

Perhaps a blockage,

I want to invite you to focus your breathing on this area.

This area of tension.

This area of stagnant energy.

This blockage.

And imagine taking a paintbrush and coloring this area with light.

Allowing yourself to gently paint over whatever it is that you are feeling is blocking you in this space.

Cleansing it.

And allowing the blockage to flow down into the earth.

As you fill this space by painting love and light.

Come back to your breath now.

Bringing your attention to your chest.

Guiding your hands down your arms.

One at a time.

Across your stomach.

Across your back.

Up and down your spine.

Across your shoulder blades.

And across your lower back.

Allowing your intention to flow through your hands as you connect and bring awareness to your body.

If another blockage comes up for you,

Guide yourself through that same visualization.

Or again,

Pause if you are called to.

Grab your journal and answer the same questions.

Breathe.

Move your attention now to the lower part of your body.

To your hips.

To your legs.

Pulsing the energy from your hands down into your feet,

Your knees.

Following wherever your hands call you to go.

Remind yourself everything is relevant.

Bringing complete and total awareness to your body.

To its energy.

To the messages it wishes to tell you.

And as you finish,

Bring your focus again back to your breath.

Sweeping your hands over your body,

Removing any excess energy.

Perhaps shaking out your hands,

Allowing the energy to be released.

And as you take your last breath in this space,

Expressing gratitude to your body.

To the energy that it holds within.

And reminding yourself again of the intention you set.

And as you begin to open your eyes and come back to the present moment,

I invite you to grab your journal and walk through the questions.

What did I notice?

What else is there for me to know?

And how do I shift this?

Coming back to this practice,

This guided meditation,

This body scan,

At any point when you feel called to.
