Begin by finding a safe place where you can relax fully and bring your awareness to this meditation.

I invite you to close your eyes and begin by breathing in through the nose and releasing out through the mouth.

Breathing in and out.

Allowing your body to be supported fully by the chair you're sitting in or wherever you're laying.

Feeling the stress of your day to melt away so that you can be fully present here and now.

As you continue to breathe and relax,

I'd like to welcome you on a journey.

Visualize yourself as a tiny caterpillar bringing your awareness to wherever you are.

Maybe you're on a leaf climbing up a tree.

Breathing in through your nose,

Releasing a sigh as you exhale fully.

As you're traveling along on your little caterpillar journey,

You realize that it's time.

Although you love being a caterpillar,

You feel the call for something greater.

You find a place on a branch or a leaf and begin to form your cocoon.

Gathering in all of the love,

All of the light,

All of the energy from the universe as you wrap yourself tightly in your home for the next few weeks.

It is safe here.

Breathe in through your nose and sigh out through your mouth.

Breathe into the change.

Realizing how it's becoming uncomfortable,

Maybe even constricting.

It feels as though the universe is closing in on you.

That maybe the light and the love you brought in with you has dissipated.

You are ready.

You begin to fight and push yourself from your chrysalis.

It is painful.

It is hard.

Breathe into the pain.

You were meant for something greater.

This is your birthing,

Dear one.

As you come forth from your cocoon,

From this place of sacred transformation,

You begin to stretch your arms,

Noticing that they are beautiful,

Vibrant wings now.

Feel them expand as you free yourself entirely from the pain of transformation.

You are beautiful.

When you are ready to,

You step fully from your cocoon and begin to flutter your brand new set of wings.

Breathing.

When you are ready to,

Fluttering those beautiful wings,

You begin to take flight,

Lifting yourself off of the branch that has been your home for so long,

Looking back and seeing all that you have overcome,

Knowing of the greatness that awaits you.

You are strong.

You are powerful.

You are free,

Dear one.

Baby,

So wonderful!

You you you
