Hello,

And welcome to another guided breathwork session.

Today's breathwork will be three rounds to help you release tension,

Find inner calm and ground your energy.

In the first two rounds,

We use a shamanic style of breathing.

Two part inhale through the nose or mouth and one relaxed exhale through the mouth.

It may look and sound like this.

The first breath we breathe into the lower belly.

The second breath we breathe into the heart space.

And a gentle exhale relaxing your whole body as you breathe out.

The third round will consist of an extended exhale breath to allow you to reach a profound state of relaxation and calming parasympathetic state.

I will guide you throughout with some exhale breath retentions between rounds of one minute.

Get really comfortable now sitting up,

Elongating your spine or lying down in a relaxed position.

Allow your eyes to close and your jaw to relax.

Breathing out empty.

And let's begin in three,

Two,

One.

In,

Chest,

Release.

In,

In,

Out.

Fill your belly,

Fill your chest,

Let it go.

Deep,

Full inhalations.

Letting go of any tension as you exhale.

Final shamanic breath.

Take a gentle breath in and hold.

Just holding here.

And release,

Relaxing into a one minute breath retention.

Become aware of how your body is feeling during this time.

Notice any tingling or sensations in your body.

Relax into the rhythm of your heartbeat.

Fifteen seconds remaining.

Take a gentle breath in and hold.

Squeezing the body gently.

Let it go with a sigh.

Get ready for round number two in three,

Two,

One.

Belly,

Chest,

Release.

With each breath,

Breathe into the present moment.

Everything you need is here.

Let go of yesterday and breathe into today.

Feel the expansion in your lungs,

Symbolizing growth in your life.

Take a gentle breath in and hold.

Just holding here.

Release,

Relaxing into a one minute breath retention.

Feel the gentle stillness of your mind.

Trust in the stillness.

You're in harmony with your body.

Fifteen seconds remaining.

Take a gentle breath in and hold.

Squeezing the body gently.

Let it go with a sigh.

Get ready for the third and final round.

In for four and out for eight.

Into a relaxed,

Parasympathetic state.

Breathe into the present moment and let everything else just fade away.

Let go of all that you cannot control with each exhale.

Take a gentle breath in and hold.

Just holding here.

And release,

Relaxing into a one minute breath retention.

Stay in this present moment.

Let the tension melt away.

Notice how your body's feeling.

Fifteen seconds remaining.

You're doing amazing.

Take a gentle breath in and hold.

Squeezing the body gently.

Let it go with a sigh.

Coming back to regular breathing now.

In and out through your nose.

Thank you for breathing with me today.
