Hello,

Welcome!

In this session we will explore the awareness of breathing.

So awareness of breathing,

It's a really foundational technique to start kind of learning to be aware with the sensation of our body.

And breath is really great anchor for that because we always breathe,

So we always have this sensation of breathing in our body.

And in this practice I will guide you to connect to the sensations of breathing and to turn our focus inwardly.

So find yourself in a comfortable position and if you feel comfortable close your eyes and turn your attention inside of your body.

Check in with yourself,

How are you feeling right now?

How are you in this present moment?

And then you can take three deep breaths in and out.

And another one in and out.

And once more inhale fully and let go to exhale.

And return to the normal breathing and start to feel in the sensation of the breath passing your nostrils focusing at the very tip of your nose.

What sensations can you notice there?

And you can follow the sensations of the breath coming in through your nose and traveling down to your lungs.

Where can you feel the breath moving?

Is it in the throat?

And feel into the sensation of breath moving your chest up and down.

Notice the moments where you may want to breathe in fuller or the breath is more shallow.

Notice the moments where you may want to breathe in fuller or the breath is more shallow.

How does the difference between those two feel?

And you can focus on the sensations of the breath moving your ribs and expanding your ribs sideways.

You can notice what comes up without any judgment just observing and feeling into the sensations.

And you can place your awareness in your belly and notice the sensations of breath moving through there expanding your belly and gently deflating as breath leaves it.

And you can tune into the sensations of the breath in your pelvic floor.

How does it feel to breathe against a chair or the floor you're sitting on?

And how does the breath feels in there?

You can also check into the sensations of your whole body breathing in and out,

Ebb and flow.

How is it to be a whole breathing body?

How does it feel to be present in your body?

And whenever you're ready you can gently open your eyes,

Have a look around the room,

Spend a moment taking in your surroundings.

I hope you enjoyed this.

Thank you.
