Hi,

This is Diana from the-haven.

Com.

Thank you for joining me.

Today I wanted to start with a 5 minute meditation just to center and breathe and be in this moment.

So find a comfortable position,

Whether that's seated in a chair or on the floor or lying down.

And let's start with just closing our eyes.

Let the chatter of your mind do its thing.

Let it chatter for just a moment.

Think your thoughts,

Do your to-do lists.

Let it go.

We're going to take 3 big breaths and with those 3 breaths we're going to slow that chatter down.

So we'll start with a big inhale through the nose and we'll do it for a 4 count and then we're going to exhale for a 5 count.

So as we prepare to breathe,

We're going to tell our minds to just quiet and soften just for now.

And here we go.

Inhale 2.

Exhale through the mouth.

Inhale through the nose.

Exhale 2.

Inhale 2.

Exhale 2.

Inhale 2.

Exhale 2.

And now I just want you to notice,

Using your ears,

Your mouth,

All of your senses except for your sight,

Keep your eyes closed.

What do you notice?

Do you hear sounds?

Are they far away or close by?

Do you smell anything?

Do you taste anything?

What does the surface feel like from where your body touches it?

Are you cold or warm?

Take a big breath in and exhale.

When thoughts arise,

Let them.

But then let them go like a balloon floating away.

We do not need to remember that right now.

We do not need to think about that right now.

Now is the time to be fully present in our bodies,

In our moment.

Take another breath in.

And release it.

Move your head gently from side to side.

Keeping your eyes closed,

But just loosening your neck.

Getting any tension out.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes.

I hope you enjoyed your daily meditation with me today.

I'll see you at The Haven.
