This meditation invites you to soften into the natural rhythm of life. Just as the moon waxes and wanes, the tides ebb and flow, and the seasons turn, we too are cyclical beings. There are times of productivity and outward energy, and there are times of rest, quiet, and renewal. Both are sacred. In this gentle practice, you’ll be guided to honor your own cycles, release self-judgment during quieter seasons, and trust the hidden growth happening within. Let this meditation be a compassionate reminder that you are never behind—you are always becoming.

Welcome.

Just take a moment now to settle into your body.

Find a position that feels supportive,

Either lying or sitting down,

And just closing your eyes if that feels safe,

And letting your breath become your anchor.

Inhaling softly,

Exhaling gently.

There's nothing to do right now but arrive.

With each breath,

Just allow your body to soften.

Imagine roots extending from you into the earth,

Holding you steady,

Reminding you that you belong.

Feel the steadiness of the ground beneath you,

Holding you exactly where you are right now.

Life is not meant to be in constant motion.

Just as the moon waxes and wanes,

Just as the tides rise and fall,

Just as the seasons turn from bloom to rest,

We too are cyclical beings.

There are days when we are radiant and outward,

And days when we are quiet and inward.

There are seasons of productivity and seasons of rest.

Neither is better,

Neither is worse.

Both are sacred.

Both are necessary.

I invite you to bring to mind a time in your life when you felt most alive,

Perhaps full of energy,

Ideas,

Connection.

Notice how it feels,

Like spring bursting into bloom.

Now I invite you to recall a time when you felt slowed down,

More inward,

Quieter,

Needing rest.

Notice how natural that too was,

Like winter calling the trees into stillness,

Like the soil restoring itself beneath the surface.

We often praise our summers and our springs,

But the autumns and winters are where roots grow strong.

The pause,

The stillness,

The quiet,

They are not empty.

They are creation's hidden workshop.

If you find yourself in a low energy season,

Just know that nothing is wrong.

You are not failing.

You are building from the inside.

Your body and spirit are tending seeds unseen.

This is not laziness.

This is wisdom.

Imagine yourself as a tree across the seasons.

See your leaves bright and green in summer,

Gently falling in autumn,

Branches bare in winter,

And buds reappearing in spring.

All parts belong.

All parts are sacred.

Rest here in this truth.

I am allowed to ebb and flow.

I am allowed to pause.

I am allowed to grow unseen.

My cycles are holy.

Just taking three slow breaths to anchor this knowing.

When you are ready,

Gently bringing your awareness back to this moment,

Back to the room or space around you.

Gently return to your day,

Carrying the wisdom of your natural cycles with you.
