Welcome.

This meditation focuses on managing through a change.

This is a two part meditation.

The 15 minute morning meditation focuses on noticing with appreciation and setting an intention.

The 15 minute evening meditation focuses on reflection and gratitude.

Change can bring many responses that are very individual.

The change curve includes denial,

Anger,

Exploring and accepting.

This is the change journey.

Meditation can help you notice what is happening in your body and can bring awareness to how you are reacting to change.

You can notice with acceptance and set an intention for how to support yourself during the change journey.

Meditation can help you calm your mind and release any tension from your body.

This can create space for you to have more control over your reaction to the change.

Find a comfortable seated position with your back straight,

With the crown of your head reaching to the sky and your body rooted to the ground.

With your hands resting on your legs and your eyes gently closed.

Take time to settle your body comfortably into your space.

Feel your body rooted to the earth,

Supported by the earth.

Feel your spirit rise.

Scan your body for any tension starting at the top of your head and noticing as you go down through your body all the way down your spine to your feet and to your fingers.

What are you noticing in your body?

Notice any areas of tightness or tension and let your breath release any tension that you find.

Breathe in as deeply as you can,

Letting the air fill your nose,

Your lungs,

Breathe all the way into your stomach and hold that breath for just a moment and then sigh it out through your mouth.

Breathe in again very deeply.

Breathe in as long as you can,

Holding that breath for a moment and then fully,

Fully releasing that breath.

Continue focusing on your breathing,

Making each breath as full and as long as is comfortable.

Drawing your breath into each cell of your body.

Your breath is constant.

You can always come back to your breath to bring focus and calm.

Try to stay focused on this moment.

If thoughts come,

That is okay.

Let them go.

Meditation is the practice of recognizing that the thought is there and just letting it go.

Breathe in fresh air and breathe out any thoughts that have come.

Picture your last interaction related to the change.

How did you feel?

Notice how your body reacts now as you reflect on this moment of change.

Observe your own behavior during this interaction.

Notice how your body reacts now as you reflect on this past moment.

Is there anything you would do differently the next time?

What experience would you like to have while on this change journey?

How would you like to feel during this change journey?

Perhaps positive,

Anticipating good things will come or maybe flexible,

Willing to move and shift as required,

Agile in this time of change.

Maybe you would like to feel optimistic about what is next,

Not fearful,

Anticipating things will go well,

Things will be easy.

Perhaps you seek calm during this time of change.

How would you like to feel as you go forward on your change journey?

Set an intention for your new preferred experience.

Set an intention that you can come back to through these times of change.

Set an intention that provides you support and strength and moves you in the new direction,

The direction that you've chosen for this change.

What is your intention?

See yourself navigating with ease.

Everything is going well.

What is your intention?

How will you make this change journey easier for yourself?

Today be open to all possibilities.

Imagine the impossible is possible.

Get lost in wondering what is next.

Today support the whole.

Give your full self.

Help someone else.

Today be curious.

Ask questions.

Wonder about things.

Today take each step fully mindfully.

Shine your light.

Take your idea and run with it.

Today look at all the possible paths.

Be open.

Make mistakes.

Try,

Fall,

Fail,

Learn,

And get back up again.

Do one thing today that will change tomorrow.

Today find the easy way.

Ask yourself what could go right here?

What would your situation look like if it were easy?

What would it look like if everything went right?

Today create the possibility.

Imagine a thriving you.

You can see it.

And so it is.

It will go right.

It will be easy.

When you notice the journey is getting tough,

Come back to your intention.

Slowly bring your awareness back to the space where you sit.

Notice the sounds around you and the light on the back of your eyelids.

Maybe bring some gentle movement to your fingers and your toes or take a nice long stretch.

You are ready for this day of change.

And I wish you a beautiful day.

Namaste.
