In our fast-paced world,
Life can be so busy,
So full of all the things we have to get done,
That it can be easy to miss out on its beautiful moments.
This practice will support you in creating moments of stillness and calm to decompress from your day and turn your focus within to find your inner peace.
Let's take a moment to settle in by finding a comfortable position that honors your body.
When you are ready,
I invite you to gently close your eyes or keep your eyes open with a soft downward gaze.
Let's take three deep,
Slow breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Breathing in calm.
Breathing out stress.
Breathing in peace.
Breathing out tension.
Breathing in stillness.
Breathing out anything that no longer serves you.
Turn to your natural breath,
Just noticing and connecting with your breathing body.
Feeling the rise and fall of your belly and chest as you breathe at your own pace.
Getting grounded.
Looking down.
Looking within.
Observing how your body feels in the present moment.
Acknowledging any sensations such as tightness,
Tingling,
Warmth,
Or coolness.
Taking a moment to connect with any thoughts or feelings.
Noting them without getting swept away.
Take a deep breath in,
Allowing whatever comes to come.
Take a deep breath out,
Letting whatever goes,
Go.
Surrendering to this stillness.
Embracing this peace.
As you drift deeper into the state,
Present awareness,
You can simply listen or silently repeat the following affirmations.
I honor myself by creating time to simply be.
I reconnect with myself by sitting in stillness.
I create space to listen to my inner knowing.
I embrace all the beautiful blessings in my life.
I celebrate all the lessons I have learned and all the growth that I have made.
I give myself grace,
Patience,
And compassion.
I believe that all that is for me will be in divine time.
I believe that all that is for me will be in divine time.
As we begin to move out of our practice,
Remember that you can always come back to this place of stillness and peace.
It is always within you whenever you need it.
Bring your eyes closed or with a soft downward gaze,
I invite you to bring your palms together at your heart in gratitude of this practice that allows you to slow down and reunite with your truest self.
Take one more deep inhale through the nose and an open mouth exhale.
Gently release your hands and when you are ready,
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
Return back to the room and open your eyes or lift your gaze.
Thank you so much for joining me today.
Namaste,
Ashé,
And so it is.
