This Christian meditation spoken in Hebrew is focused on Centering you in your trust in the Lord extracting the phrase from Psalm 115:9, Trust in the Lord. Christ meditated in Hebrew and Aramaic and I pray this ancient form of Christian practice will draw you into a deep connection with Christ as you yield to the truth of knowing you can trust the Lord.

Hello,

This is Tanya Murphy.

Welcome to this meditation on trusting the Lord.

I'm so grateful that you've joined me today and I'm so excited about the opportunity to share with you one of my favorite ways to meditate and that is in Hebrew.

I love meditating in Hebrew because it draws me closer to Christ knowing that this is a way that He meditated on a daily basis.

Christ meditated in Hebrew and Aramaic,

So I'm so glad to be able to participate in a meditative practice that allows me to be able to meditate in the way that Christ the Lord did.

Today,

We're going to lift part of the scripture from Psalm 115 9 and the portion that we're lifting is trust in the Lord.

So I'm asking you to join me in this meditation by just getting still,

Sitting or lying in a position that is comfortable for you,

Just making yourself comfortable in this moment,

Resting in this moment,

Taking time to ground yourself,

Just being present and aware of where you are.

Just take a moment to take in the silence,

To hear the silence because silence does have a sound.

Take a moment to listen to and be aware of your breath,

Mindful of how your chest rises and falls with each breath,

Mindful that you trust in the Lord for each and every one of these breaths.

There's nothing special that you have to do but just be,

Just rest,

Just trust and each breath comes and goes.

Now as we prepare for our meditative practice,

Just remind yourself that you trust in the Lord.

Psalms are a great way to meditate because the psalmist oftentimes is having a discussion with his or her own soul.

Biblical theology often depicts the Spirit of God within us preaching to our own soul.

So in the beauty of knowing that,

We will begin our meditative practice in Hebrew.

The phrase,

Trust in the Lord,

In Hebrew is batach badonai.

I will repeat that phrase and you can gently and lovingly repeat that phrase to yourself.

Batach badonai.

Batach badonai.

Batach badonai.

Batach badonai.

Batach badonai.

Pataca Badonai Pataca Badonai Pataca Badonai Patach Badonai.

Patach Badonai.

Patach Badonai.

Let us rest in trust in the Lord.

Patach Badonai.

Patach Badonai.

Patach Badonai.

Let us rest in trust in the Lord.

Patach Badonai.

As we come to the end of this meditative practice,

I want you to move right back to this very moment.

Wiggle your fingers and toes.

And be mindfully aware that you can trust in the Lord.

I pray that you have a wonderful,

Phenomenal day.

I hope you carry this meditative practice and this Hebraic meditative phrase with you throughout the day.

Patach Badonai.

Trust in the Lord.

And I hope you have a wonderful day.
