Christmas Centering Prayer For Spiritual Empowerment

This Christmas Centering Prayer in the Christian tradition will bring focus to the spiritual empowerment of the Messiah, reminding us of the hope and strength we have in Him. This Centering Prayer is a beautiful compliment to the Advent Season.

Hello and welcome to this guided centering prayer for spiritual empowerment during the holiday season.

Thank you so much for joining me.

Today I will be reading from Isaiah 11 verse 1 and 2 and it says,

A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse.

From his roots a branch will bear fruit.

The spirit of the Lord will rest on him.

So today we will walk through a centering prayer reminding us of the spiritual empowerment of the Messiah and that these things we too can also walk in.

So today as I lead you through this centering prayer I want you to be mindful of a few things.

Christian meditation is rhythmic.

When you repeat a mantra or say a centering prayer there is a rhythm to it,

A cadence.

Be mindful of that as we repeat this centering prayer.

Walk in the rhythm that is best for you as we repeat the centering prayer.

Allow the Holy Spirit to lead you during this centering prayer.

I want you to just clear your mind and take a deep breath and exhale.

What is the spirit of the fear of the Lord? What does that mean?

Beautiful words, beautifully spoken with love and Intension. The only thing that jars is fear of the lord. I know that the bible talks a lot about fear but in my heart I don’t think God wants me to be afraid of anything for in his presence all fear is dissolved by his his love and light.
