The Ashram has been established with the vision to bring the community together, engage them in various spiritual activities and an inquiry of the nature of self, and develop an inter-relationship wherein the community members willingly volunteer in the Ashram activities with an attitude of selfless service. The Ashram provides a setup where the community members get inspired, and in turn inspire others to inquire about the principle quest of human life, as well as encourage and support others to do the same.

Seated in a comfortable posture.

Eyes are closed.

The fingers of the two palms interlocked and resting on the lap.

Comfortable,

Relaxed.

This is guided meditation in which you just have to listen and follow the meaning of the words.

There is nothing to be done.

There is nothing to be achieved.

And therefore,

Be relaxed.

This is an appointment with myself.

And I spend a quality time with myself.

I have many notions and opinions about myself.

And therefore,

Usually I am not comfortable with myself.

I even avoid myself.

Avoid being with myself.

I try to escape from myself.

But that is not necessary.

I am not what I take myself to be.

I think that I am a restless,

Unhappy person.

I am not at peace with myself.

That does not have to be.

This is an appointment with myself.

Just to be myself.

I see this fact that I am not what I take myself to be.

That I am someone who I can be comfortable with.

In reality,

I am a comfortable self.

In reality,

I am a contented self.

A comfortable,

Contented person I am.

This meditation is to see this fact about myself.

When I let go the conclusions about myself and just see who I am.

Just be who I am.

This is the meditation for just being myself.

For seeing myself as I am.

And therefore,

Be relaxed.

Because we are not seeking any new experience.

We are not seeking any new sensation.

We are seeking to be with our own self as we are.

Because what I am is quite sufficient.

For being happy,

For being satisfied,

I don't have to be different from what I am.

What I am is quite sufficient.

And therefore,

I am relaxed.

In the knowledge that I don't have to be different from what I am.

It is quite alright to be what I am.

Notwithstanding what opinion others have of myself.

Notwithstanding what opinion I have of myself.

I am quite alright as I am.

It is a matter of simply accepting myself as I am.

And I do not judge myself based on some arbitrary standards.

I do not judge my body based on some arbitrary criteria.

I just recognize that my body is beautiful as it is.

It is a great gift from Ishvara,

From God.

This body is a product of the infinite wisdom of Ishvara.

Therefore,

It is beautiful as it is.

I lovingly accept my body as it is without any complaints.

There are no doubt many limitations in the body.

It is limited in strength.

It is limited in many skills.

The body is limited.

Death,

Old age,

Disease,

These are all natural to the body.

In spite of them,

It is a great gift.

I lovingly accept the body.

I am comfortable with the body.

It is a dwelling place for the self.

The body is a temple for the dwelling of the self.

I accept my mind,

A great gift from Ishvara.

The mind is an excellent instrument with which I will perform many tasks.

I can think,

I can feel,

I can know,

I can imagine,

I can create,

I can communicate.

The mind is an excellent gift,

An instrument for me to perform a number of functions.

There is no doubt that the mind is limited,

Limited in memory,

Limited in grasping,

Limited in retaining,

Maybe limited in spite of the limitations.

The mind is a beautiful equipment,

A great gift,

A sensitive and subtle instrument for me to perform a number of tasks,

A number of functions.

I lovingly accept my mind.

It is also a creation of Ishvara.

When I do not compare myself with others,

When I do not brand myself,

When I am objective with reference to myself,

Objective with reference to my body,

Objective with reference to my mind,

Then I see that the body,

The mind are beautiful as they are.

It is a great privilege to have them.

It's a great privilege to be a human being,

To have a human body,

To have a human mind.

And I am happy that I have that privilege.

When there is self-acceptance,

When I don't complain about myself,

When I do not criticize myself,

When I am objective about myself,

Then I am comfortable with myself.

No judgment about the body,

No judgment about the mind.

Just take them to be what they are and appreciate.

Be aware of the privilege and enjoy the privilege of having a human body and a human mind.

And thus accepting of myself,

I am comfortable with myself.

I am at peace with myself.

Then I can see that I am a silent,

Contented,

Conscious being,

Possessing a body,

Possessing a mind.

I am a silent,

Conscious,

Contented person.

Silence is my nature.

Consciousness is my nature.

Contentment is my nature.

When there is acceptance of myself,

When I am at peace with myself,

Then I see this fact about myself that I am a silent,

Contented,

Conscious person.

Silence is my nature.

I am a silent,

Contented,

Conscious being,

Possessing a mind.

I am a silent,

Contented,

Conscious being,

Possessing a mind.

I am a silent,

Contented,

Conscious being,

Possessing a mind.

Silence is my nature.

I am a silent,

Contented,

Conscious person.

That is the appointment with myself.

Just to see who I really am.

When there is self-acceptance,

When there is objectivity about myself,

I see myself as an acceptable,

Silent,

Contented,

Happy person.
