Eyes are closed,

Gently.

The fingers or the palms are interlocked with each other and resting on the lap.

The body,

The neck,

The head are in a straight line as far as possible,

Meaning that the bodies act and the bodies are steady.

The second step is to make the mind quiet.

Make the mind inward looking.

To disengage the mind from its many thoughts about the outside world.

Different methods can be used.

One method is to focus attention on the sense of touch.

For example,

Either you are seated with folded legs or seated on the chair.

The bottom of the body is touching the floor or the seat.

The feet are also touching the ground.

The sense of touch with the seat,

With the ground,

Just focusing attention on feeling the touch.

Touching the seat.

Touching the ground.

Further,

The two palms are touching each other.

Fingers that are interlocked are touching each other.

Feeling the touch of the fingers that are interlocked with each other.

The thumbs also are touching each other.

Feeling a sense of touch and the fingers that are interlocked with each other.

Then just pay attention to the thumbs.

Feel the two thumbs touching each other.

Focus attention on the feeling of touch and the two thumbs.

The other hand is touching the floor.

You find that the body is relaxed,

The mind also is relaxed.

The mind is inward looking.

The purpose of this meditation is just to be myself,

Just being what I am.

Fortunately,

At this time,

Since I am not seeking anyone's approval because I am by myself,

This is an appointment with myself.

And therefore,

I am not being watched by anybody.

There is no need to seek anyone's approval.

There is no need to please someone else.

There is no fear of being judged.

There is no fear of being rejected simply because I am with myself.

When there is no fear,

Then I can be my natural self,

No inhibitions.

There is no attempt to pretend to be different from what I am.

I do not have to pretend to be different from what I am.

I simply am what I am.

I am not a man or woman,

Young or not young,

Strong or not strong,

Fair or not fair.

I am being myself and being comfortable with myself.

When I am comfortable with myself,

Just as right now nobody is judging me,

So also I also do not judge myself.

There is no need to compare myself with someone else.

There is no need to drive myself to become someone else.

I respect myself as I am,

Without any pride and without any shame,

Gracefully accepting myself as I am.

Ishwara in his infinite wisdom has made me what I am.

Whatever there is in the creation,

Including myself,

Is the creation of the infinite wisdom.

Therefore,

Everything is in order.

Therefore,

I am also in order.

I am alright as I am.

There is no need to judge myself by the arbitrary standards of the world.

There is no need to judge myself by the arbitrary standards of the world.

I can judge myself by the standard of Ishwara.

Whatever I am is in order because that is how Ishwara in his infinite wisdom has created.

Whether it is color of the skin or the shape of the nose,

The weight of the body,

Or the capacities of the mind,

Whatever it is,

Just as a tree is in order in its own place,

Just as a flower is in order in its own place,

Just as a bush is in order in its own place,

A bear,

A rabbit,

A squirrel,

A chipmunk,

A butterfly,

A honeybee,

All of these are in order as they are where they are because they are so created by Ishwara in his infinite wisdom.

So I am in order as I am where I am.

I am complete as I am.

There is no reason for me to feel any lack or want.

The lack or want is a result of judging myself as inadequate because I judge myself by the arbitrary standards of the world.

I do not have to gracefully accept myself as I am.

I am a conscious being like a tree,

Like a flower,

Like a butterfly,

Like a deer,

Like a honeybee,

Like a bird.

That harmony,

Wholeness is my nature when I see myself with a non-judging mind.

The meditation itself is very beutiful ...it reveals that I (as an individual) am in order always. And the consciousness that I am is always whole. The sound of the mike is distracting however.
