There is something about me that is incidental.

Recognizing the incidental as incidental.

For example,

The many roles that I play.

During the waking state,

I play many roles.

A student,

A friend,

Sometimes wife,

Husband,

Daughter,

Mother,

Son.

I swiftly change from one role to the other as the situation demands.

Just before the class,

I was a friend to someone.

As soon as I am seated in the class,

That friend is gone,

The student has come.

While I am meditating,

The student also is gone,

The meditator has come.

There is something about me that is constantly changing.

What I know,

Of course,

Is changeable.

Like the objects of the world are changing.

Even my body,

Which is also object of knowledge,

Also changes.

My sense organs,

Object of knowledge,

Also changing.

The thoughts in my mind,

Object of knowledge,

Also changing.

When all this changes,

The only one that remains constant is I,

The subject.

Object is my nature,

I am not object.

Everything outside this body is in the category of object.

The body also is object because it is object of my awareness.

Sense organs are also object because they are also object of my awareness.

The faculty of hearing,

The faculty of touch,

The faculty of sight,

Taste,

Smell,

Speech,

Hands,

Legs,

All these organs are objects of my awareness.

Going to the mind,

Mind is in the form of thoughts.

Thoughts are also changing.

Thoughts are also the object of my awareness.

I am the subject.

I am the seer,

Not the seen.

I am the subject,

Not the object.

I am the witness,

Not what is witnessed.

The subject that I am is also changing depending upon which role I take.

Husband,

Wife,

Father,

Mother,

Son,

Daughter,

Sometimes happy,

Sometimes unhappy,

Sometimes doer,

Sometimes enjoyer.

The subject is also changing.

What is changing is incidental.

When I look at the subject,

I find that in the subject there is one aspect that is changing.

At the same time,

There is another aspect that does not change.

What does not change about I,

The subject,

Is that I am conscious,

That I am,

And I am conscious.

During the various changing roles,

The fact that I am conscious does not change.

I am a conscious being.

What I am conscious of,

I am different from what I am conscious of.

I am a conscious being.

But am I really a being?

Am I an individual consciousness?

What is the essential nature of I,

Who is the conscious being?

I am not individual consciousness.

I am not consciousness confined to this body-mind complex.

I am consciousness which has no boundary.

I am consciousness that pervades everything.

Every object of consciousness is pervaded by consciousness.

Even the distant stars are in consciousness.

The space and time are also in consciousness.

The consciousness that illumines all them is distinct from them.

I the consciousness,

The illuminator,

Is distinct even from space and time.

The body is also in consciousness.

The mind is also in consciousness.

The ego is also in consciousness.

The subject is also in consciousness.

The body is in consciousness.

The sense organs are in consciousness.

The thoughts are in consciousness.

The time is in consciousness.

Always the concept of space is in consciousness.

The consciousness illumines them all.

The consciousness accommodates all.

By eliminating the consciousness,

It is distinct from them all,

Separate from them all.

They are not separate from consciousness.

Consciousness is separate,

Independent of all.

That is the unchanging thread.

Okay?

I am Nirmigalbha.

I am non-dual.

Nothing is separate from consciousness.

Whereas consciousness is distinct from all.

The consciousness,

The eye,

Is Diracara,

Is formless.

Boundless.

We are all pervasive,

All accommodating,

All limiting all.

Sarvendriyana,

Eliminating all the sense organs and sense objects.

Sadame samatvam.

I am ever the same.

Namukthirana bandha.

There is no bondage.

Now there is liberation in the eye,

The consciousness.

Jidanandaruga amchit consciousness.

Ananda tranquility.

Silence.

Contentment.

Shivoham,

Shivoham,

Auspicious eye.

Anandabai.

Amnirikalpau nirakarurvah vibhul vyabhyasarvaitre Sarvendriyana.

Sadame samatvam.

Namukthirana bandha.

Jidanandaruga amchit.

Shivoham,

Shivoham,

Jidanandaruba.

Shivoham,

Shivoham.

Jidanandaruba.

Jidanandaruba.

Shivoham,

Shivoham,

Shivoham.

I am Shiva,

The evil auspicious,

Ever pure,

Ever painless.

The never was bondage.

There is no question of liberation.

I am ever liberated.

Ever free.

Boundless.

Like the shoeless ocean.

Boundless consciousness.

No form,

No attribute.

In the silence tranquility is Ananda.

Ananda is not different from tranquility.

From silence.

Tranquility is my nature.

Silence is my nature.

Jidanandaruga.

Shivoham,

Shivoham.

This is an existing reality about me.

I don't want to become Shiva.

Just recognize and own up the fact that I am Shiva.

The auspicious,

The painless,

The even pure consciousness.

Everything else is incidental.

The whole universe is incidental.

This body-mind are incidental.

And if Shiva,

The consciousness,

The tranquil,

The I is essential.

Never indicated.

Self-revealing.

Om.

Poolamada.

Poolamidam.

Poolad poolamudatchadhe.

Poolasya poolamadaya.

Poolameva vashishtady.

Om shanti.

Shanti.

Shanti.
