The Now is often seen as a stepping stone to a "promised fulfilling future". The Now is not valued, nurtured or even acknowledged. You have considered time as your friend and time always promises and never fulfils. Make the Now your friend and allow life to unfold from the fullness, completeness and grace of the Now. Repeating this meditation is helpful as being anchored in the now, though natural and peaceful, has been veiled by the habit of the ego to live in the past and future. The Now is where grace, love and wisdom permeates your life. In this guided meditation various anchors like space, colours, stillness and silence will help you be anchored in the Now. You will be guided to the beautiful experience saying Yes to the Now.

Hello and welcome to this guided meditation saying yes to the now.

This guidance will help you recognize,

Nurture and value the now.

Our ego mind thrives on time,

The past and the future.

The past is over and the future is yet to come.

What is really,

Really,

Really here now?

It is the now.

The reality is you only experience the now and in the silence of the now grace flows through your life.

If you want something new in your life you have to let go of time.

You have to let go of the fixation with time and when I say let go of time I mean the psychological time.

The self of you,

The ego self of you that is invested in past and future.

Functional time is totally okay and very much needed to live our life.

Most times the now is treated as a stepping stone to some promised future.

Can you value the now,

Honor the now,

Love the now rather than treating it as a stepping stone?

Let us begin the meditation.

Keep your eyes open.

In this meditation I will be guiding you through various anchors like space,

Color,

Stillness which will help you stay here now,

Be here now.

It will help you in saying yes to the now.

Saying yes to the now is very,

Very powerful.

Watch all the space in the room.

Watch the space to your left,

To your right,

The space in front of you.

Keep watching space in all directions,

Left,

Right,

In front of you,

Behind you.

Look up and watch the space between you and the ceiling.

As you're aware of space you are saying yes to the now.

Now become aware of all the colors that are there in your experience.

Look at all the objects and without any kind of judgment or label gently become aware of the colors that are there in your experience.

As you're aware of colors you are saying yes to the now.

Be aware of the weight of the body.

Be aware of the breath.

Keep your awareness on the weight of the body and the breath.

As you're aware of the breath,

As you're aware of the weight of the body you're completely anchored in the now.

You are saying yes to the now.

Look at any object in your experience.

Allow your awareness to flow to the object.

Notice how still the object is.

Move your awareness to another object.

Notice the space around the object.

Again notice how still this object is.

See if you can get a sense of stillness in the entire room where all objects are completely right now.

As your awareness is rested in the stillness,

Anchored in the stillness,

You are saying yes to the now.

Now be aware of the silence.

Now close your eyes and be aware of the silence.

Silence is always present but often overlooked.

There is no need to seek silence,

Stillness or space.

They are always present.

All that is needed is a conscious intention to stay anchored in these divine qualities.

Saying yes to the now is saying yes to life.

Saying yes to grace.

Saying yes to life is also a form of divine surrender.

As the habit of trusting the ego mind and trusting time is very old,

You need to be patient with yourself as you learn to stay anchored in the now.

Be patient and kind with yourself through this journey of moving from time to now,

From ego mind to divine mind.

May the now comfort you.

May the now bless you.

May the grace of now permeate your life.
