The kid shaped flower.

One day as you were taking a walk across a field of grass,

You passed a patch of pretty flowers smiling brightly up at you.

You knelt down next to them and bent your face close.

As you breathed in the scent of these delicate,

Beautiful flowers,

You felt it was the sweetest smell that you had ever,

Ever smelled.

You wanted to stay there all day,

Just breathing in the lovely scent of these pretty friends.

You decided to lie down next to them with your head right in the center of the flower patch,

Just for a minute.

As you gaze up at the blue sky,

You breathe gently and deeply in,

And gently and deeply out.

And a smile comes across your face.

You are the happiest you have felt all day.

Your body is relaxed and soft,

And your arms,

Legs,

And head feel heavy and warm and a little bit sleepy.

As you take your next breath,

You breathe the scent of these flowers all the way down to your toes,

Hoping that the scent will stay with you all day.

As the smell of these flowers swirl into your chest and spread out to your fingers and toes,

You realize that you have become one of the flowers in the patch.

All of a sudden,

You feel light and special.

Joy fills your heart like the scent of the flowers filled your body a moment ago.

As you glance down at yourself,

You can see your tender leaves below you,

And you can feel your stem and roots hugging the earth.

As you glance up,

You can see a bright halo of color above your head.

You see that your petals are your favorite color,

And they are the brightest and most beautiful color you have ever seen.

You feel so lucky to have such pretty parts,

And it makes you feel happy from your deepest root up to your highest petal.

You feel grateful to the earth for supplying you with nutrients and water to be such a lovely thing.

You whisper a quick thank you to the earth and feel so happy that your colored petals grow even more colorful.

The earth replies back,

And for a moment you can feel the heartbeat of the earth thumping strong and steady in the tips of your roots.

As you sway and dance in the breeze with your fellow flowers in the patch,

A bumblebee comes to rest on your petals.

She buzzes around and it tickles your petals so you giggle.

You know that she will take your pollen and spread it around to make more beautiful flowers just like you.

You whisper a gentle thank you to the bumblebee for helping you be so connected to the beauty of the world.

Your bumblebee buzzes back a gentle response thanking you for having such a soft landing pad.

She buzzes away promising to return to your patch tomorrow.

As you breathe in and as you breathe back out,

You notice that a little mouse has come to your feet.

He is also sniffing in the scented air all around you.

He stops and rests in the tiny patches of shade that your petals provide,

And he feels as safe and happy as you do.

You send him a greeting of friendship and he sends one back to you before rustling off in search of food.

With every breath in and out as a flower,

You feel the joy of being alive.

You feel perfect just the way you are,

And colorful,

And an important part of making this world a beautiful place.

You feel connected to the earth,

To the insects,

To the animals,

And to your fellow flowers.

As you take your next deep breath,

You find yourself in your own body again,

Lying in the patch of flowers.

You yawn and stretch and feel refreshed because you have just had a restful nap full of sweet dreams.

As you get up and continue on your walk,

You know that every time you smell the beautiful scent of flowers in the air,

It will remind you that you too are beautiful and an important part of the planet,

And that makes you very happy.
