Start your day with a grounding message of encouragement and persistence. For this morning's inspiration, I'll share a quote from Rachelle Hollis (author, motivational speaker) that reframes progress, not as perfection or speed, but as the simple steady act of continuing. With a soothing invitation to breathe, reflect, and release pressure, this short practice offers you a comforting reminder: that even the smallest steps forward are meaningful, and you are already enough, just as you are. Quote from Rachel Hollis (2018), "Girl, Wash Your Face: Stop Believing the Lies About Who You Are so You Can Become Who You Were Meant to Be"

Good morning.

I'm Susan Guttridge and I'm so happy to have you here.

Before we begin,

Take a moment to stretch,

Breathing new energy into every part of your body.

Draw another deep breath in,

And as you exhale slowly,

Allow yourself to peacefully arrive in this new day.

For your morning inspiration,

The quote I have for you is from Rachel Hollis.

She writes,

Rest in the knowledge that you can become whoever and whatever you want to be,

My sweet friend.

And,

On the days that seem the hardest,

You'll remember that by an inch or by a mile,

Forward momentum is the only requirement.

I hear this quote as a compassionate call to self-acceptance and persistence.

It speaks to the truth that we all face hard days,

And it gently encourages us to trust in our potential to keep moving forward,

No matter the pace.

I also believe that forward is forward.

Progress isn't about perfection.

It's not about speed.

It's about movement,

However small,

And staying connected to your journey.

In a world that so often pressures us to meet impossible standards,

Rachel reminds us that our imperfections are not flaws to hide or fix.

They are the very things that make us human,

Authentic,

And beautiful.

So if at any point today you find yourself overwhelmed,

Stuck,

Or doubting your path,

I invite you to pause.

And in that pause,

Breathe in deeply,

Exhale slowly,

Re-center,

And then carry on,

Reminding yourself you don't need to leap forward.

Change,

After all,

Often grows out of the accumulation of many tiny steps,

Each one meaningful.

So today,

Just take one step.

Be kind to yourself in the process.

See if you can let go of the pressure to be flawless,

And honor the quiet strength it takes to keep showing up.

Your journey is yours to shape.

Who you are in this moment,

Be it brave,

Be it messy,

Be it unfinished,

Is already enough.

Forward is forward,

And you are worthy just as you are.

Take another deep breath in,

Exhaling out when you're ready,

Re-centering as you prepare to face today.

Thank you for being here,

Thank you for listening,

And for beginning your day with me.
