Greetings,

And welcome to Hanuk Zen Healing Arts,

April Silent Tea,

And meditation with Susan Delaine.

Here in the West,

April has become known as the rainy month.

Like the winds of March,

April rainwater is an agent for transformation in nature.

It consecrates the soil,

Cleans away the surface of the earth,

And it brings the supple effervescence to animal and plant life.

Our rainwater reminds us to be fluid and easygoing in our daily experiences.

Our natural watersheds teach us to be both pliable and free-flowing in the face of rapid change and to be placid in the face of chaos.

In all of the world's traditions,

Religions,

And spiritual practices,

Water is considered to be life-sustaining,

Hence it is sacred.

Water has a miraculous ability to take on the shape and energetic frequency of any space in which it dwells.

Specifically in Eastern healing traditions,

We recognize water as an agent to hold frequencies,

Blessings,

Or energies that are generated during prayer work or meditation.

It is later consumed to raise vibrations and restore energy.

It is almost magically versatile,

Descending onto earth in a dense physical form,

Serving a specific purpose on the planet,

And then returning to source as a higher vibrating vapor starting over and over again.

In the words of Lao Tzu in the Tao Te Ching,

Water is the softest thing,

Yet it can penetrate the mountains and the earth.

Its versatility shows clearly the principle of softness overcoming hardness.

Our mini guided drawing later in today's program will represent the sacred and wondrous properties of our water.

So let's begin our meditation now by first taking a moment to set a container of drinkable water by your side.

You will refill your container over time,

So be sure that it has a lid.

Your water will absorb and sustain the energies generated during this meditation and during today's energy healing session.

Settle comfortably now into the surface on which you are seated or lying.

Bring your attention to the top of your head and release any tension in your scalp.

Relax your eyebrows and temples.

Unclench your jaw and let your tongue fall away from the roof of your mouth.

Drop your shoulders.

Now is the time to gently close your eyes and take one deep cleansing breath with me,

Breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth with a loud emphatic sigh.

Breathe normally now and relax.

Relax.

Relax and know that there is nothing for you to do right now.

There is nothing for you to do.

There is nothing.

From the depths of the Earth's core rises a sublime white light that breaches the surface of the ground right beneath you and it diffuses right around the soles of your feet.

This soft light surrounds your feet like a sublime pool of lightly bubbling seawater.

It is magnificent and stunning.

It is warming and soothes any tiredness or weariness in your spirit.

In your mind's eye,

See this white light beaming upward through your body's core emanating outward to your limbs,

Swirling around your entire head area and launching up and out through the crown of your head.

It has high energy and momentum and it is now connecting you with the immense atmosphere above.

It beams up perpetually and out in all directions,

All spans of time,

All spans of space and you now feel connected with all that there is.

At this time,

We will impart some principles adapted from an ancient Korean prayer and we will intend for them to infuse our nearby water.

As you later consume this water,

The vibrations of love,

Gratitude and harmony will infuse your cells.

Confirm with me,

I marvel in and I give thanks for the wonders of my beginnings,

Where I am now and where I'm going.

I give thanks for my body,

My well-being,

My peace of mind and healing on all levels and I make a vow to carefully guard my health and happiness.

I give thanks for the ability to love,

Knowing that love originates inside of me and that love is the only way to happiness.

I recognize that all love originates inside of me,

The entire universe resides inside of me and all of nature,

Spirit and creation flows in me,

Through me,

As me and around me.

I give thanks for the mountains and landscapes that speak to me through wind,

Rain and snow,

To the earth that feeds all living things and to the sky which gives birth to it all.

I make a promise to rid my heart of hatred,

Anger and envy and to fill my heart with gratitude and humility,

To reflect goodness and compassion in my ways of living.

I let go of criticism and I resist the lore of adoration and flattery,

Rather I give thanks for the self-realization,

Purity of heart and peace of mind that I gain in silence and through honest living.

I give thanks for my peace and I affirm harmony among all those around me,

Between my neighbors,

Between countries,

All religions,

Political groups and between humans and nature.

I give thanks for the beautiful things in my life.

This has been a very powerful practice.

When you're ready,

Take a deep breath inward and exhale with a loud sigh.

Slowly open your eyes and bring your attention back to this present time and space.

Today we have moved energy and harnessed the power of water to sustain our intentions and vibrations.

As you later consume your water,

You will be filled with the energies generated during this event and you will experience an increase in your life force,

A boost in vitality.

Each time your container becomes half full,

Refill it with water.

Repeat as many times as you'd like to maintain this energy.

Thank you so much for meditating with me today.

Please continue to rest comfortably as we now begin our tea service ceremony.

Kamsahamnida Chingu.

Thank you,

Friend.
