Take a moment to arrive.
This is a space designed for settling,
For easing,
For allowing the nervous system to return to balance.
There is nothing required of you here.
Simply let yourself be supported.
Find a comfortable position,
Seated or lying down.
Allow your eyes to close.
Take a slow and deep breath in through your nose,
And release it gently through your mouth.
Let the body know it can rest.
Take another slow breath in,
And as you exhale,
Notice the weight of the body being supported,
The surface beneath you,
Holding you steadily.
With each breath,
The body begins to recognize safety.
Presence deepens naturally.
Bring your attention to the top of the head.
Allow it to soften.
Let warmth spread gently,
Down through the face,
Around the eyes,
Through the jaw.
The muscles of the face can rest.
Awareness moves down through the neck,
Across the shoulders.
Notice how much they have been carrying.
Allow them to settle.
The chest softens.
Breathing becomes smoother.
Bring awareness into the center of the body,
The stomach.
The space behind the ribs.
Imagine warmth moving through this space.
A sense of steadiness and deep internal support.
Awareness continues downward,
Through the hips,
All the way into the feet.
Feel the body fully connected to what is supporting it,
Grounded,
Present.
Now bring awareness to the rhythm of your breath.
Simply noticing.
The nervous system listens to rhythm.
With each breath,
Signals of calm are sent through the body.
Muscles respond.
The heart settles.
The system begins to recalibrate.
Imagine a gentle field of calm surrounding you.
This field supports you and regulates your body and mind.
It supports balance.
It supports recovery.
Your body knows how to respond within this field.
Allow yourself to repeat the following affirmations.
Let these words move deeply to the center of your mind.
My body knows how to return to calm.
I am supported in this moment.
I am steady here and now.
I am powerful.
Remain here for a few moments,
Resting,
Letting the nervous system integrate this state.
Begin to gently bring awareness back into your body.
Notice the breath again,
The weight of the body,
The support beneath you.
Take one full nourishing breath in and release it slowly.
Know that you can always return to this place within your mind.
