Welcome to the methaphors series. I will use animals, images, objects, and other things as a focus point to get internal insights. It's our first experiment. Today's metaphor is lobster. Lobsters are squishy, soft creatures that live inside a rigid, non-expanding shell. The lobster will feel pressured as he develops and gets bigger since the shell is so restricting. Maybe you know methaphor. Let's internalize it.

Welcome to the Metaphors series.

I am Suatatan,

Teacher in Saiktamr.

I will use the animals,

Images,

Objects and other things as a focus point to get internal insights.

It's our first experiment.

Today's metaphor is more interesting.

Lobsters.

Lobsters are squishy,

Soft creatures that live inside a rigid,

Non-expanding shell.

The lobster will feel pressured as it develops and gets bigger since the shell is so restricted.

You might argue that it is most uneasy just before it emerges from its shell and becomes exposed and defenseless.

A lobster needs this to develop and as it does,

Its shell gradually gets stronger and bigger.

And one day lobster cannot stay at his shell and change its shell.

The changing feeling uneasy in shell reflects becoming bigger and bigger and development.

Dr.

Abraham Tversky makes fun of the fact that lobsters wouldn't be able to develop if they had physicians or doctors by relating the following anecdote.

As soon as the lobster feels uncomfortable,

He goes to the doctor,

Receives a painkiller and feels gut.

He won't ever come out of his shell.

Of course,

It's just for fun.

We love doctors.

However,

The fact in this metaphor and story is,

If you feel uneasy about your career and life,

One of the explanations for it is you are no bigger and cannot live within your current restrictions.

These restrictions may be your beliefs or other conditions,

Physical conditions maybe,

Of course.

It's good news.

You can go under a rock,

Under the sea or ocean to change your shell.

To internalize,

Let's go on our shelter to change your shell.

Let's meditate and imagine this metaphor.

OK,

Take a deep breath.

Imagine yourself as a lobster under the sea or ocean.

You are feeling uneasy.

You cannot move in your shell and slowly going to under a rock to change your shell.

You intend to change your shell and in this situation,

You are not hiding yourself,

Finding from the unwanted interruptions under the rock.

You are changing your shell.

You are changing your shell.

You are changing your shell.

Open your eyes and keep this visualization in your mind.
