Please make yourself comfortable,

Simply sitting back or lying back in a comfortable position,

Your arms loose and limp beside you,

Your legs uncrossed.

And now choose a spot up above you.

Once you've chosen that spot,

Just keep your eyes fixed upon it.

You look at that spot as if your eyes are fixed,

Nothing else matters,

Nothing else in the room exists,

Your eyes hold that spot.

In a moment,

At your pace,

You'll take three long deep breaths,

And as you exhale each breath,

You think to yourself,

Relax now.

So beginning with the first breath,

A long breath in,

As you exhale,

Think relax now.

Then a second long deep breath,

And as you exhale,

Relax now.

Then a third long deep breath,

As you exhale,

Relax now,

And allow your eyes to gently close.

And as your eyes close,

Feel the heaviness of your eyelids,

Feel the heaviness of your eyelids,

Heavily closed,

As if your eyes are unable to open.

And feel the relaxation beginning to spread now,

Down through your body.

And every time that I say the words,

Relax now,

Instantly you relax even more deeply,

As if the relaxation is doubling throughout your body,

Taking you twice as deeply,

Into deep,

Peaceful relaxation.

Relaxation that is wonderful for your body,

And wonderful for your mind.

So just imagine now that all the muscles around the back and the sides of your head are becoming loose and limp.

The relaxation spreading across your scalp and forehead,

As you give in to this feeling,

And relax now.

And the relaxation increases,

Yet still you have the ability to hear my voice.

As the muscles of your eyebrows and eyelids soften and relax,

Allowing the relaxation to spread further across your nose and out across your cheeks.

Your entire face is softening,

And any tension is simply easing away now,

So easily.

And as you exhale,

Relax now.

The muscles of your mouth and lips relax now,

As your chin and your jaw become loose and limp and relaxed.

So relaxed.

Such a good feeling.

Such a good feeling as the relaxation spreads down through your neck and your throat.

Any old tension is now gone.

And the relaxation spreads out across your shoulders.

And as you relax now,

The relaxation is softening and relaxing these muscles,

Completely.

The relaxation beginning to spread down your spine,

From your upper back,

Deeper and deeper.

Your whole body is becoming more and more relaxed.

Completely.

The relaxation beginning to spread down your spine,

From your upper back,

Deeper and deeper.

Your middle back,

Down deeper and deeper.

Down to your lower back.

And as the relaxation spreads in this way,

You relax now.

As you relax,

It's as if the relaxation is flowing out through your vertebrae,

Flowing to every part of your body.

The relaxation spreading down your upper arms,

Softening and loosening those muscles just easing off.

Relaxed.

Peacefully relaxed.

The relaxation flowing around your forearms,

And you give in to this feeling of increasing relaxation.

You are drifting deeper as you relax now.

The relaxation flowing through your forearms,

Spreading down,

Down through your wrists and your hands,

Right down to the very tips of your fingers.

As you relax in this way,

Your entire body is becoming more relaxed.

Your mind is softening,

Relaxing,

Releasing any tension.

As the relaxation spreads,

The muscles of your stomach and your pelvis are relaxing so easily.

The relaxation naturally spreading down the long muscles of your thighs.

So loose,

So limp,

So relaxed and comfortable.

The relaxation spreading down through your ankles.

All of these muscles are just easing off.

A sense of giving in to your own relaxation as you relax now.

The relaxation flowing right down into your feet.

And as the relaxation flows down into your feet,

You understand that you have made the decision with your conscious mind to be a calm and confident traveler.

You've made a clear decision with your conscious mind to enjoy travel,

To be calm and confident as you fly.

And this decision is exactly right for you.

It's exactly right for your lifestyle.

And having made this decision to be a much more confident,

Calm traveler.

The suggestions that I now give to your relaxed subconscious mind are accepted.

Your subconscious mind likes and accepts these suggestions.

In this deep state of hypnotic relaxation,

Your subconscious accepts and keeps these powerful and positive suggestions and acts upon them because they match your decision.

So I now remind your mind that you want to travel and you now love to travel.

Traveling is an important part of your active and wonderful life.

And you choose to be a confident and calm traveler now and in the future.

A relaxed,

Calm and happy traveler now and in the future.

Enjoying travel more and more.

The more you travel,

The more you want to travel.

You love traveling.

And each time that you fly,

Whether for work or weekends away,

Longer holidays or other practical reasons,

You enjoy your experiences of traveling as a calm and confident traveler.

As you organize your plans,

Purchasing and arranging your tickets,

Your accommodation and any additional features of your travel plans,

You experience feelings of pleasant anticipation,

Feelings of excitement.

You are looking forward to traveling.

You think of your destination and the things that you'll be doing there and you look forward to going.

And each time that you think of your next trip away,

You notice that you feel much more positive and much more calm,

Much more relaxed about going and looking forward to going.

And as you organize and pack your luggage,

As you organize your clothing,

The items that you need for traveling,

You pack your curiosity in with them.

You take with you a wonderful feeling of curiosity.

Life is an adventure and travel is an important part of the adventure.

And flying to your destination is part of the whole experience,

Part of the complete travel experience.

As you arrive at the airport and begin to move through the airport,

As you check in your bags,

As you collect your boarding pass,

You remain calm and relaxed.

If you're flying internationally,

You move through customs and you remain calm and relaxed.

As you move through security,

You remain relaxed and calm.

There are people around you also moving through the system and you remain calm and relaxed and comfortable.

You feel good within yourself,

A subtle feeling of pleasant excitement.

You feel patient if you're around a queue of people.

You feel good,

Organized,

Happy.

You feel really good,

Ready to take the next step of your travel.

You might move or browse through duty free.

You feel relaxed and calm.

And as you walk towards and into the departure lounge,

You remain calm and relaxed.

You feel great and you're looking forward to flying.

Each time you think about your flight,

You notice that you feel relaxed and calm and comfortable.

And whether this is a short flight or a longer flight,

It doesn't matter.

You remain relaxed and calm.

You wait in the departure lounge,

Feeling comfortable and calm amidst the other waiting passengers.

All is well.

You're looking forward to getting to your destination,

But you feel comfortable about your flight.

Your mind relaxed and calm,

Yet clear.

When boarding the flight commences,

You move towards the steward to get your boarding pass checked.

You remain calm and relaxed.

And as you board the plane,

This calmness stays with you.

You have a pleasant feeling of excitement.

You're glad to be traveling.

On the plane,

You find your seat and you stow away your hand luggage before sitting down and fastening your seatbelt.

Other people are moving around you,

Finding their seats,

Organizing their hand luggage in the overhead areas.

Everything is as it should be.

And you feel good.

In time,

The plane is ready to depart.

You remain calm and relaxed,

Interested and positive.

The subtle,

Pleasant feeling of excitement within you.

And whether you're flying alone or you have friends or family with you,

You remain relaxed and calm and comfortable.

As the doors are closed and the engines are started,

The safety procedures are demonstrated.

You observe them with interest.

Your mind receptive,

Relaxed and calm.

Your thoughts positive.

There is more space around you than you actually need.

There is more air around you than you actually need.

You feel good.

And then the plane begins to move along the runway and begins to ascend.

You feel relaxed and calm.

The sense of the plane lifting off is pleasant and you remain confident and calm.

During the flight,

You might watch a movie or you might listen to music or sleep or read or you watch other people as they travel.

And in time,

Food and drinks are offered from the refreshment cart.

You enjoy your meal or your snack.

And as you fly,

If there is any turbulence at all,

You understand it's simply an air pocket.

The plane is simply flying through a pocket of air and this passes.

The turbulence passes and all is well.

And as you fly,

Time simply passes by.

You feel relaxed and calm.

Time passes by.

It seems in no time at all the flight is nearly over and the plane is descending.

And as the plane descends,

You remain relaxed and calm physically and emotionally.

You're breathing easy and comfortable.

You feel completely relaxed and calm.

Calm and confident.

As the plane lands,

You remain relaxed and calm.

And you leave your flight feeling wonderful.

You have enjoyed your flight and you feel so much happier,

Pleased and proud of yourself.

Pleased with yourself.

The return flight will be just as easy for you because you are now a more calm and confident traveler.

When you think ahead to future travel you wish to do,

You feel so much more confident.

And each time you fly,

Your confidence is growing stronger and stronger.

You love to explore and travel.

Some people choose instead to stay home.

Some people choose to be armchair travelers.

But you love to explore and travel.

You know other people who explore and travel.

And you want similar experiences of wonderful places,

Interesting cultures,

Food and people,

Different languages.

It's all waiting like a wonderful smorgasbord to be enjoyed.

And as a confident traveler,

You enjoy your travel experiences.

You love traveling more and more,

Accepting and making the most of opportunities as they arise.

It's as if the world is opening up to you.

You love to travel and opportunities arise because you are ready.

And whether you are traveling for work or for pleasure,

Whether for holidays or practical reasons,

You travel easily and with confidence.

You love to travel.

In a moment,

I'll simply begin to count you back to the room.

I'll count the numbers between one and five.

And with every number that I count,

The energy is returning fully and completely back into your body.

And you know and understand that each time you listen to my voice on this download,

You relax more quickly,

More deeply,

More easily.

And the suggestions become a strong,

Important part of your mind.

So beginning now at the count of one,

Just begin to feel the energy returning back into your body and slowly and steadily rising up,

Up,

Up through your body.

At the count of two,

That energy rising up,

Up,

Up through your body,

Feeling more aware,

More alert.

At the count of three,

You take a long,

Deep energizing breath,

Increasing the energy within your body.

You feel more alert and more fresh.

At the count of four,

Your eyelids feel light,

Your eyes feel fresh and clear.

You're more aware of your hands and your feet.

And at the count of five,

Your eyes open very easily now as you bring yourself back fully and completely,

Easily returning back to the room,

Ready for the remainder of a very pleasant day or evening.
