
After Work Relaxation

After your working day is over, enjoy your leisure time feeling a sense of fresh energy, relaxed yet revived. Release the tensions of the day, come into the remainder of your day or evening with enthusiasm and enjoyment of "your time."
Transcript
Welcome to your after work relaxation.
This relaxation is designed to complete your day,
To help you end your working day positively and peacefully,
To peel away any stress or pressure at the end of your day.
So simply sitting back or lying back now in a comfortable position and as you hear the sound of my voice talking to you,
Just allow your eyes to gently close.
And as you hear my voice you simply observe your breathing.
You observe your breath,
Breathing comfortably and easily,
Watching each breath arrive and leave.
You are lying back in a comfortable position.
Your body temperature is perfect,
Not hot,
Not cold,
Just perfect.
And you hear and you understand every word I say.
And you are simply watching each breath arrive and leave.
And you feel yourself beginning to relax now.
Any tension of the day leaving you now.
The busyness of the day's activities leaving you now.
And as your muscles release and relax,
The relaxation is spreading down through your body.
The relaxation spreading around the back and the sides of your head.
Out across your scalp and your forehead.
Out across your eyebrows and your eyelids.
The muscles of your face relaxing now.
The relaxation spreading across your nose and your cheeks,
Down through your mouth and your lips.
And as you relax in this way,
You simply give in to your own relaxation.
Any tension of the day is leaving you now.
Being relaxed and released from your body.
The relaxation spreading around your chin and your jaw,
Through your neck and your throat and out across your shoulders.
The relaxation softening the muscles of your shoulders,
Relaxing and releasing.
And as you relax in this way,
The relaxation is flowing down your spine.
From your upper back to your middle back,
Deeper and deeper to your lower back.
The relaxation spreading more and more.
The relaxation flowing down your arms,
Around your elbows,
Down your forearms,
Through your wrists and your hands,
Loose and limp,
Relaxed and easy.
The relaxation flowing gently through your wrists and into your hands,
Right to the very tips of your fingers.
With every easy breath you breathe,
The muscles of your chest and diaphragm are relaxing.
The relaxation flowing through your stomach and your pelvis.
The relaxation spreading through your thighs,
Through your knees,
Down through your calves,
Down through your ankles,
Deeper and deeper.
And you give in to your own relaxation as you hear my voice talking to you.
You give in to your own relaxation.
The relaxation spreading down,
Down into your feet.
And as the relaxation flows into your feet and as you relax,
You understand that your working day is over.
Driving or commuting,
That's over.
Any pressure is leaving you now.
Any pressure of deadlines or meetings or interactions at work,
They are over now.
The working part of your day is over.
And as you relax in this way,
There is a wonderful sense of coming into your own time.
A sense of arriving into your time.
And you arrive into your time feeling more and more relaxed and refreshed by the relaxation.
If something is unfinished from today,
That's what tomorrow is for.
Your working day is over and you now create and take some time for yourself.
Just for yourself.
The end of your working day is the beginning of your leisure time,
Your family time,
Your time.
And as you go about your evening,
Any home tasks such as preparing a meal are easily and simply done.
And you feel so much more relaxed and calm.
As you move through your evening,
You feel relaxed physically and emotionally.
A deeper sense of ease and calm within you.
You feel lighter and happier.
You feel free and relaxed.
Enjoying the activities of your evening and your time out.
And whether you are going out again or staying in,
You feel more relaxed and calm.
Calm yet refreshed.
Calm yet revitalized.
Calm and clear.
And tonight in your familiar comfortable bed,
You sleep a deep sound restful sleep.
Waking tomorrow fresh and ready for a whole new day.
And until then,
You move through your evening with relaxed calmness.
A sense of freedom.
A sense of pleasure.
It all belongs to you.
And you enjoy your time.
It all belongs to you.
Each time you listen to my voice guiding you through relaxation in this way,
You relax more quickly and more deeply and more easily.
And each evening you feel more relaxed and calm.
And the benefits of this calm flow into the next day.
Each day and every day.
Feeling more relaxed and at ease.
Day by day.
Feeling calm.
In a moment,
I'm going to count you back to the room.
As I count from one through to five.
You return back to the room fully and completely.
Bringing with you a sense of ease and relaxed calmness.
You feel wonderful.
And as you go about your evening,
This feeling stays with you.
It all belongs to you.
So just beginning now at the count of one.
Begin to feel the energy returning gently back into your feet.
At the count of two,
That energy steadily rising up,
Up,
Up through your body.
At the count of three,
You take a long deep energizing breath.
Increasingly aware and fresh.
Relaxed and calm.
Yet feeling more refreshed.
At four,
Your eyes beneath your eyelids,
Feeling fresh and clear.
You're more aware of your arms and legs,
Your hands and feet.
And at the count of five now,
Your eyes open easily as you bring yourself back fully and completely.
Back to the room.
Ready for a very pleasant evening.
It all belongs to you.
