Wake Up Early For Productivity
Anyone else listen to Tim Ferriss and how so many of his guests wake up early to start their day and tackle their goals? And now you want to as well? This recording is for you. You want to wake up early, but keep sleeping through your alarm or hitting snooze. Start waking up early and take action towards the goal you want to accomplish. You've got this. Remember to only listen to this recording when you can give it your full attention. Listen to this at night before you go to bed.
Transcript
Never listen to this recording while driving or operating heavy machinery.
Sit back and allow yourself to begin to relax.
To begin with,
I'd like you to focus on an object on the other side of the room.
Good.
Now as you focus on that object,
I want you to take in a nice,
Big,
Deep breath.
And as you slowly exhale,
Notice all the tension beginning to leave your body.
Very well.
Sinking deeper and deeper.
Now I want you to remember a time of deep and very pleasant relaxation.
And as you bring that into your mind,
Feel yourself drifting there easily and comfortably.
Good.
Very good.
Deeper and deeper relaxed.
Now when your eyes feel like closing down,
Just allow them to close naturally.
Deeper and deeper relaxed.
Good.
You're doing just fine.
Take in another deep breath and relax.
Feeling so calm and so peaceful.
As you sink deeper and deeper into the chair,
Should you become aware of any of the everyday outside type of noises,
You'll find that those noises will help you to relax even more,
Causing you to go down even deeper.
And any movement you need to make will also help you relax even more,
Allowing you to feel more calm and more peaceful.
Taking in another deep breath.
Letting all the rest of the stress and tension leave your body.
Now I want you to imagine a beautiful ball of light above your head.
This light is the colour of relaxation.
Allow that light to soak into you and you become even more relaxed.
Even more relaxed as the light relaxes every part of your body,
Starting with your head,
Your cheeks,
Your jaw.
Completely relaxing your jaw.
The relaxation flows to your neck and your shoulders.
Down your back.
Fill all of your muscles in your back.
Relax.
Your arms,
Elbows,
Wrists.
That liquid relaxation flows all the way down to your fingertips.
And you are now feeling deeper and deeper relaxation.
You want that to happen.
You allow that to happen.
Your stomach is relaxed.
And the relaxation continues to flow through your hips,
Your legs,
Your calves.
All the way through your feet to the tips of your toes.
Now your entire body is relaxed.
As you continue to listen to my voice,
If any unwelcome thoughts come to mind,
Just send them away with an exhaling breath.
Now continue to focus your attention on the sound of my voice and allow yourself to remain completely,
Comfortably relaxed.
In just a moment,
I will begin to count down and with each descending number,
Your level of relaxation will double.
Want that to happen.
Allow that to happen.
10,
5,
Sinking deeper and deeper down.
4,
So calm,
So peaceful.
3,
Letting go.
It feels so good to just let go.
2,
Getting even closer now.
1,
Now peacefully,
Comfortably relaxed.
Now I want you to think of a goal you are currently working on.
This goal is something that is pulling on your heart and is occupying your thoughts.
And you truly want to accomplish this goal.
You can imagine how your life will be different once you accomplish this goal.
You can see everything as if it's happening right now.
And it feels exciting.
And you feel proud of yourself knowing that you can accomplish this goal.
In order to help you achieve this goal,
You have decided you want to wake up earlier to give yourself time to work on this goal,
On this project that you have your heart and mind set on.
This goal was given to you for a reason and you know that you can accomplish it.
You pick a time to wake up and you imagine yourself now setting your alarm clock to wake up to this time.
Or perhaps you will tell yourself to wake up on your own at this time every morning while still allowing yourself to get a wonderful night's sleep.
As you begin to imagine yourself going to bed and getting the most peaceful and restful night's sleep,
You allow yourself to trust the process and trust yourself.
You hear your alarm go off.
Imagine yourself turning off the alarm or perhaps you're waking up on your own and you see your eyes open at the time you want to get up.
And you easily get out of bed.
Your mind thinks about the day ahead and the project,
The goal you have set for yourself and you willingly and happily get up.
You begin to feel with energy knowing that you are doing something for your betterment,
For your mind,
Your body,
Your soul.
And that by getting up early you are making time for self-care and to do something for your personal growth and development,
For your joy,
For your self-worth.
To accomplish this goal that you have set for yourself.
And this feels good.
And this is strong enough to motivate you to stay awake and take action towards your goal.
And take action towards your goal.
As you begin to feel more energy,
You release the desire to hit snooze and to continue to sleep on your dreams.
Because as of today,
You take action towards your goals and part of that action is waking up earlier to give yourself uninterrupted time to shine,
To breathe life into your dream.
And this feels fantastic.
You can feel your confidence begin to grow right now.
And you know that you are worth this time.
And it's so easy for you now to ignore distractions and stay focused on what you are working on.
Imagine yourself working on your project.
Whatever your goal is,
See yourself taking action towards it now.
See yourself smiling,
Feeling proud,
Knowing you are accomplishing this goal.
Very well.
You have the ability and you tap into it.
To stay focused and be productive and feel unstoppable.
Almost as if you are a goal accomplishing machine.
Well,
Allowing yourself to tap into those emotions that help fuel you,
Energize you.
Feel proud of yourself and allow you to be resilient and to keep going.
You are worth your goal.
And you know that from now on,
You will easily wake up early to work on this project and work towards this goal of yours.
Because you are worth it and you trust that.
In just a moment,
I will invite you to return from this experience.
Feeling refreshed and energized and full of confidence.
Feeling returning to your fingers and toes.
All energies in complete balance.
Knowing that you are willing to wake up early to work on your goals.
Eyes feeling as if they have been bathed in cool,
Cold water.
Feeling more confident,
Refreshed and eager to start your day early.
Six,
Eyes open,
Fully aware.
Feel the energy.
Feel the energy.
Feel the energy.
Feel the energy.
Feel the energy.
Feel the energy.
Feel the energy.
Feel the energy.
Feel the energy.
Feel the energy.
Feel the energy.
Feel the energy.
Feel the energy.
Feel the energy.
Feel the energy.
Feel the energy.
Feel the energy.
Feel the energy.
Feel the energy.
Feel the energy.
Feel the energy.

It really has been helping me wake up early, but is it possible to make a shorter version with less of the body relaxation portion and more on visualizing and reminding me of my motivation to wake up early? Also, provide silent time in between instructions to allow me to do these.

Excellent yoga nidra for falling asleep and waking up easily wanting to get after it! Excellent for ADHD- helps me get out of bed promptly opposed to hours sometimes, going by before I start my day.

Relaxing and well directed meditation. Motivating. Will need to see if it works with repetition to help nudge just a bit earlier of a rise

šš»I ⤠this! Her voice is so calming! And I šš» this works! I have so many things I need to get done everyday, between studying for my degree, (which I have not been doing to well with because of procrastination), housework, getting organized with a daily & weekly routine, keeping up with finances, work, and desperately trying to find some time for my hobbies! I repaint or upcycle furniture and right now I have 3 GIANT pieces that are daily reminders to me to get my priorities knocked out already so I can finally make these pieces beautiful again! Thank you for this! š¤š»

I found this quite nice, though it seemed like it took a while to get past the induction and into the core content. Also not sure what the purpose was of the three or so minutes of silence after awaking refreshed and ready to go. Still, great content, and I am holding on to this one since it directly addresses on of the things I have been working on a great deal lately. Thank you for sharing this with us. I see the light in you. š¤²ā¤ļøš¤²

I absolutely love this meditation and will be listening to it every night until my new 5am wake up habit is in place. It's such a breath of fresh air in a world of aggressive-toned motivation to accomplish/work on your goals. Thank you so much! š

Absolutely love this meditation. Its like you read my mind about what I really wanted. A meditation that first progressively relaxes me, focuses on my goal and will help me to wake up early enough to work on it. I am very excited about this meditation that I will do every day and have already shared on FB

I liked this meditation but I felt the unguided minutes at the end frustrating. I was eager to be productive after opening my eyes. I enjoyed the message. Thanks for sharing. Namaste šš¼.
