This meditation is to help reconnect with the positivity and optimism within ourselves.

Find a comfortable position,

Preferably seated up with your head,

Neck and back in a straight line.

You may close your eyes if that feels right for you.

Now,

Start by taking the deepest breath that you have taken today,

Holding for a moment and then releasing the breath very slowly until there is no more air left,

Pausing here for a few moments.

Do this for two more breaths,

Keeping the process slow and deliberate.

As you inhale,

Feel the cool air filling your lungs and as you exhale,

Feel the warmth leaving your body.

Feeling more grounded with each inhale and exhale.

Let your breathing return to normal but let each breath be intentional and mindful.

Take a moment to notice what is present for you right now,

Without needing to judge it or analyse it.

Just observe how you feel.

How does your physical body feel?

Is there anywhere that you are holding tension?

How are your energy levels?

What thoughts are going through your mind?

Are you distracted or present?

What emotions are you feeling right now?

Continuing with deliberate breathing.

Each breath is cleansing,

Clearing away any stale,

Negative energy.

Each breath is nourishing,

Energising you as it moves through your body.

Distractions and worries fade away as the breath flows in and out of your body.

One way to feel more positive is to appreciate what we have going for us,

So take a moment to count your blessings,

No matter how small.

It could be as simple as the fact that you made it out of bed this morning.

You could be thankful for your breath because breath is life.

You could be grateful for the gift of this day.

There are so many things that we can be grateful for.

Positive thinking is not about denying the realities of life,

But rather about finding the silver lining in challenging and difficult situations and focusing on the good that is present in our lives.

Adversity and challenges can be seen as an opportunity for growth and transformation.

You are in control of how you feel and how you respond to situations.

No one else has that power over you.

You can choose positivity.

Step into that power,

Allowing the positive energy to flow freely through your body.

With each breath,

Feel this energy growing stronger and stronger.

Positive energy in,

Positive energy out,

Positive energy in,

Positive energy out,

Positive energy in,

Positive energy out.

Every moment is a clean slate and an opportunity to start afresh.

At any moment,

You can choose to improve your habits,

Your actions and your ways of thinking.

Each moment is an opportunity to better manage your emotions,

To be kinder to yourself and to others and to be more present in the moment.

Breathing in,

Let positive energy flow into every cell of your body.

Breathing out,

Feeling your body and mind renewed with that energy.

In this state of full presence and self-awareness,

Repeat to yourself,

Today is a day of new opportunity.

I am powerful.

I am capable.

I am worthy.

I am grateful for all that I am.

I will achieve my goals.

I choose positivity.

Simply enjoy this moment of stillness and connection to all that you are.

Manifest the energy and power from within you into the physical world around you.

Feel connected to your power within.

I am powerful.

I am capable.

I am worthy.

I am grateful for all that I am.

I will achieve my goals.

I choose positivity.

Focus your attention back on your breath and feel the positive energy flowing freely.

Feel the clarity and focus in your mind,

Energy and vitality in your body and positivity and peacefulness in your soul.

Feel yourself filled with confidence to be able to take on whatever comes your way today.

You are ready and you are powerful.

Take this positive feeling with you throughout the day.

Whenever you feel a negative emotion entering your mind,

Think back to all the things you have to be grateful for.

Remember that this powerful energy you have created is within you and can always be accessed.

You are in control.
