My name is Stephanie and I'm a teacher here on Insight Timer.
I'm going to just guide us through a short guided grounding meditation.
Since it is springtime,
I felt that it's really important to just kind of reconnect with the earth.
Our connection is never lost no matter the season,
But right now there's a lot of blooming and blossoming and I think it's just a great time to make that welcome the spring,
The spring that exists in all of us.
So I hope this practice finds you well.
Let's go ahead and get started.
So just go ahead and find a comfortable space to practice today.
We will be closing our eyes.
So sitting down or laying down is probably most ideal.
But just go ahead and get settled in.
And as you get settled into your space of practice,
Go ahead and close your eyes.
And just go ahead and take a deep breath in through your nose.
And let it go.
And take another deep breath in.
Let it go.
And one last deep breath in and let it go And as you return to your normal breathing,
Just take a moment to reconnect with your body.
Any sensations?
And now I'd like to invite you to visualize You're sitting on top of a beautiful grassy hill.
And as you turn your head up towards the sky,
You can feel the warmth of the sun on your face.
You can feel the sun slowly waking up every cell in your body.
That may have been at rest during this winter.
Warming your body from head to toe.
In the distance you can hear the birds singing.
Announcing the arrival of spring.
Announcing the arrival of you.
And around you,
There are reminders everywhere.
Quiet breeze.
The flowers outstretched towards the sky.
Welcoming the sun as you are.
Just take a moment to sit in this connection with the earth.
With yourself.
And as we begin to come back into the space that we're in.
As we slowly come to the end of this practice.
I invite you to stay here longer if you need.
And I just want to remind you that this connection with the earth is never lost,
No matter the season.
And as you go about your day today,
Enjoying all the tiny miracles of spring.
You are part of that you are part of all of that beauty all of the miraculous ways that spring provides.
