Hello,

My name is Gabriella and welcome to this meditation working through the seven chakras,

The energy centres of the body.

We're going to start with the root chakra and work our way up to the crown chakra.

I recommend seating upright in a comfortable position for the duration of this meditation.

And I invite you to close down your eyes with me and connect to your breath.

I'd like you to bring your focus of attention to your brow right now.

And imagine yourself breathing from your brow all the way down to your sitting bones or your root,

Inhaling through the nose and then exhaling from your root down into the earth.

Inhaling,

Allowing that breath to travel down from your brow centre all the way down through your body to your root and on the exhale allowing the energy to sink down into the earth.

We're going to repeat this for a few minutes,

Allowing ourselves to ground into this present moment before we begin working with each of the energy centres today.

Breathing down to your root and exhaling and letting go and allowing the energy to drop into the earth to go wherever it's needed.

And as you breathe out and allow this energy to sink down into the earth,

I want you to imagine that this energy is kind of grounding you,

Rooting you down like the roots of a tree,

Connecting you with Mother Earth,

Connecting you with nature.

And often when we're not balanced in our energy centres,

Life can become quite chaotic.

We can suffer with bouts of anxiety or worry.

We can feel as if we don't have enough time to accomplish our to-do lists and basic tasks.

We can feel stressed or concerned that we are not doing enough,

That there is not enough time.

And when we connect to the earth in this way,

We remind ourselves that there is nowhere else we need to be.

Everything is all right here now in this moment.

We're going to start with bringing our focus of attention to the root chakra.

And this is situated at the base of the spine between the sex organs.

What I'd like you to do is visualise a red ball of light at this energy centre.

And this is the energy centre that rules our stability and our security.

It's this energy centre that develops when we are young and it represents our family and the first people we call our tribe.

It brings up feelings of finance,

Instability,

Insecurity around abundance and safety and themes around the home.

So when things are unbalanced or we are not connected to our root foundation,

We can feel quite ungrounded,

We can feel unsafe,

We can feel fear.

And so when we bring our attention in a practice such as this to clear away any blockages or stagnancy or darkness from this red circle,

This sphere of energy,

This ball of light,

We come back into balance.

And the mantra for this chakra is Lam,

Lam,

Lam.

So I invite you to say this mantra either to yourself out loud or to yourself silently.

Lam,

Lam,

Lam.

Feeling your sense of safety in your body as you connect down with this earth energy centre,

This root centre,

This bright red centre.

Lam,

Lam,

Lam.

We're going to move our focus now up to the second energy centre which is known as the sacral chakra.

And this is identified as an orange ball of light.

And this is the energy centre that rules our emotions,

Our sexual energy,

Our relationships,

Our creativity.

It is situated below the belly button.

So picturing this energy centre now,

Connecting to our watery emotions.

I would like you to chant the mantra for this centre,

Lam,

Lam,

Lam.

Either silently to yourself or out loud.

And imagining this orange ball of light,

This orb,

This energy centre is brightening and largening in size.

Lam,

Lam,

Lam.

And as with all things in life,

Relationships are the source of our biggest challenge and also the source of our biggest joy.

And so when we connect with this centre to spend a bit of time bringing it into balance,

We will see that reflected in our outer world through our everyday relationships.

Lam,

Lam,

Lam.

And when you're ready,

We're going to move up now to the third energy centre,

Which is known as the solar plexus.

And it is identified by a yellow orb of light as bright as the sun.

And this is the energy centre of our prana,

Our life force.

It's the centre that rules our dynamism,

Confidence,

Self-esteem,

Strength,

Courage.

It is situated behind the navel.

And the mantra associated with this chakra is Ram,

Ram,

Ram.

So I'd like you to recite that to yourself,

Visualising this bright yellow ball of light clearing and largening in size.

When we are balanced in this energy centre,

Nothing can throw us off.

We are aware and connected to our real inner power,

Our real inner strength.

Ram,

Ram,

Ram.

And taking a moment to connect with these three centres that we have cleared and connected with today.

Seeing the bright light of the root below us and the orange light of the sacral.

And now this yellow light of the solar plexus lining up in a thread of lights.

Ram,

Ram,

Ram.

And we're going to keep on climbing up to our heart centre.

The energy centre that rules unconditional love,

Compassion,

Self-love as well.

And the colour of light associated with this chakra is green,

Emerald green.

And when I first worked with this chakra in a very similar fashion,

It brought a lot of emotions through the surface of my being.

And I remember crying and if emotions come up for you,

Let them pass through.

It's simply a connection to our heart space.

Often we forget to connect to our heart and so there is a beautiful moment that can occur as we do so for the first time.

So picturing this ball of green light,

We're going to chant the mantra for the heart centre,

Which is the mantra,

Yam,

Yam,

Yam.

Allowing all that loving energy to pass through our whole field,

Our whole body,

Every cell,

Sending love towards us.

Yam,

Yam,

Yam.

And allowing this beautiful green loving energy to transmit from your heart out into the world to our loved ones and our friends,

To strangers and enemies too.

Allowing this love energy to travel out from your whole being into the world.

Yam,

Yam,

Yam.

And we're going to travel further still,

Traveling up from the heart centre now to our throat chakra.

And our throat chakra is the seat of our speech,

Our truth,

Connecting us to our values.

And it is indicated by a light blue light.

And the mantra associated with this chakra,

This energy centre is,

Ham,

Ham,

Ham.

And when we are unbalanced in this centre,

We can struggle to speak our truth.

We might have fears communicating,

We might lie,

We might gossip.

These are signs that we are not balanced,

That we are not able to speak in our integrity,

In our authenticity.

And using this practice,

We can simply come back to ourself,

Come back to our truth.

Ham,

Ham,

Ham.

Taking a moment to connect back to the root and the sacral and the solar plexus and the heart.

This thread of light connecting all the way up to the throat now.

Ham,

Ham,

Ham.

And we're going to journey together up to the third eye.

And the third eye is the seat that is centred between the brow.

It's an energy centre that rules our intuition and our psychic abilities and our connection to the unseen world.

It is identified by an indigo coloured light.

And the mantra associated with it is Om,

Om,

Om.

So picturing this indigo light and chanting this mantra to yourself silently or out loud.

Whatever feels most comfortable for you,

There is no right or wrong here.

Om,

Om,

Om.

And when this chakra becomes blocked or unbalanced,

We can suffer with anxiety or fear.

We may be susceptible to thoughts overwhelming us.

We may doubt our purpose and direction.

And when we work in the chakras in this way,

We are connecting them all by a thread,

A golden thread of light so that they are all uniquely balanced and in harmony connected to one and the whole.

Om,

Om,

Om.

And we're going to travel up now to the crown which is situated at the top of the head,

The crown of the head.

And this is the chakra,

An energy centre that connects us to source,

To creation,

To the universal intelligence of this world.

And we're going to repeat the mantra Om,

Om,

Om together.

This energy centre is the colour violet or sometimes white.

So depending on what colour you connect with,

Visualise this colour at the centre of your head.

Om,

Om,

Om.

And if we connect down to the root again,

Picturing this red ball of light and then the sacral,

This orange ball of light and the solar plexus,

This yellow ball of light and the heart centre,

This green ball of light and the throat centre,

This light blue ball of light and the third eye,

This indigo ball of light and the crown,

This violet ball of light.

Om,

Om,

Om.

I mean now I connected up to the cosmos and down to the earth.

We have rebalanced all of our chakras and we can go about our day feeling whole and complete.

Sending you so much love.
