Welcome to this meditation supporting you to let go of tension and find a place of inner peace.
I know what it's like to be exhausted with life and its challenges and to be desperate for some relief.
I know what it's like to keep pushing through because you don't know another way.
I know what it's like to struggle to find the time for you and to search for relief in all the wrong places.
So I've designed this meditation to offer you a space to let go of anything you might be holding on to and cultivate a space of peace within.
And with regular practice,
Please know that it can be accessed more easily and you can be comforted in the fact that you can carry this energy into your daily life.
The meditation also offers a mini-taster of a combined sound and somatic,
Body-focused approach that can support you in releasing emotional tension that your body is holding onto and meet a deeper place of relaxation within.
I will guide you to explore your body and its sensations,
Followed by some gentle sound healing.
The repeated tones and overtones of the sounds are known to be very powerful in shifting you to an altered state of consciousness where deep healing and transformation can occur.
So with that,
We'll get started.
Begin by making yourself comfortable.
You might want to lie down for the duration.
And in a place you won't be disturbed.
This is your time for relaxation and letting go.
And now close your eyes if that feels good to you.
And take a few long,
Slow breaths.
Repeating this a few times allowing yourself to settle into the present moment.
And now as your breath returns to its normal pace.
Gently bring your attention to your body.
Scanning from the top of your head slowly down all the way to your feet.
And just notice any sensations that are present right now.
What do you notice?
Are there any areas of tension?
Discomfort.
Or alternatively openness and ease.
Remembering that you could have different areas experiencing different sensations at the same time.
Maybe you have none of those sensations that I mentioned,
Maybe it's something else.
And as you continue to breathe.
You might name any sensations to yourself.
And you'll see that eventually.
.
.
The next sensation will come.
And as they come there's no need to judge them.
Just know that right now you can be with each sensation and that's really empowering.
And should any thoughts or emotions come up,
You can simply acknowledge these.
There's no need to change anything.
Just observe,
Always from a place of loving presence,
Curiosity,
And compassion.
And finally I invite you,
If it feels right for you today,
To set an intention to release anything that your body might be holding onto.
Releasing with love in its purest essence.
Maybe you know of something.
Maybe not.
Either way,
The body often tends to intuitively know what to release and it knows the sound is coming.
And if you like you can communicate to your body with love that it's okay to let go.
Taking a few more longer,
Slower breaths in and out,
Relaxing further into the moment as you let go even more and allow the sound to do its work.
Aum you you Feeling the vibrations of the bowls resonating with your body as you sink deeper.
Feeling the water wash away whatever it is that your body has been holding on to.
You relaxing further,
Deeper.
It's okay to let go.
You you Music Bye.
Bye!
Releasing,
Relaxing.
Concluding slowly taking your time You can gently come back into the present moment.
You might want to wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Have a good stretch.
Open your eyes.
Just look around you to orient yourself to the space.
And as we conclude this meditation,
Just take a moment to check back into your body again.
Not judging,
But rather accepting your experience exactly as it is.
You might feel like continuing to stay lying down.
If you're lying down.
Either way,
Ideally,
You don't want to have to just rush straight on to the next thing,
If that's possible.
I'm just noticing is there anything your body is asking of you right now?
Any energy that wants to move through you.
Maybe if your body wants to move it could be gently or more vigorously Do you have any sound that you might let out from your throat space?
A yawn,
A toning sound.
Maybe there's nothing there right now and that's also absolutely fine.
And this is the benefit to somatic inquiry alongside sound.
You can notice any shifts that have occurred after this experience and then look for any final release or conclusion that suits you.
And I'd recommend doing the meditation for 21 days as this will help to strengthen and deepen your somatic connection and the experience of using sound and somatics to move you to a place of peace within.
One that you are empowered to access and one that can offer relief from life's stresses in a healthy and loving way.
Sending so much love to you.
