This is a short guided meditation for letting go.
And when we say letting go,
That could bring up so many different aspects,
So many different people,
Places,
Things,
Behaviours,
Attachments.
Whatever it is for you.
The chances are you've arrived at this meditation because there's something that you feel that you need to let go of.
And when we're letting go.
.
.
This can be a process that we connect with in the mind but also in the body as well because the body holds a lot of memory.
Holds all our memories.
And so often with the healing process,
It's not just about letting go once.
This is a constant process of letting go in a way.
And often we'll go through periods in life when we feel like we're more holding on to things and others where we feel more open and as if these things don't have such an impact on us,
These issues,
Whatever it is.
And that's just the natural flow of life.
So when we talk about release and letting go,
It's not just a once and done thing.
But we can always bring it back to letting go of things that don't serve us anymore.
So now coming together in meditation,
I invite you just to take a long,
Slow breath in through your nose.
And exhaling out of your mouth.
Just returning back to your normal pace,
Tuning into your breath.
Tuning into your body.
Tuning into this idea of letting go.
And if it feels good,
You can also close your eyes.
And as you're sitting there.
Just imagine yourself.
Holding on to something.
Tightly.
And this is something that has been impacting you for some time.
It's been causing you maybe anxiety,
Stress,
Deep discomfort,
Debilitating emotional pain.
Something that is just bringing you down and you know that it's not serving you anymore.
As I said before,
This could be a person,
A place,
A habit.
Feeling the grip of that attachment.
And now just gently ask yourself,
Is this holding me?
Or am I holding on to it?
Notice what shows up for you now.
Notice how it feels when you're attached to this.
Is there any resistance there?
Does it feel frustrating?
Are you angry?
Are you sad?
Are you frightened?
Welcome it all.
Welcome it all with no judgement.
And now just see.
If you can loosen your grip just a tiny bit.
Even just by one percent.
And you're doing this from your most empowered.
Self.
Your most loving self.
It's okay to let go just a little bit.
And as you do this,
It doesn't quite have the same hold on you anymore.
How does that feel for you?
How does it feel knowing that?
If you loosen the grip.
Just a little bit.
Can you breathe more easily?
Do you feel lighter?
More open.
Does it feel uncomfortable?
Whatever it is,
There's messages in all of your sensations and feelings that might be showing up now.
There's no right or wrong.
A supportive statement for you to connect with now.
And you can repeat this out loud or to yourself if it feels comfortable to you.
Right here,
Right now,
I'm safe to let go just a little bit.
Right here right now i am safe to let go just a little bit Amazing job.
You don't need to hold the weight of these things that you've been carrying for so long.
You can trust that over time.
You can let go.
Just taking one final long slow breath in and out.
And when you're ready,
You can just carry this with you into your day.
Lighter and more at ease.
