This meditation is a practice of presence with our fear. Instead of fighting our thoughts and feelings, we call on the help of our inner Wise One, to help hold space for all of the fear, all of the thoughts, all of the distractions, all of the discomfort. We sit with all that is. When we stop fighting and find the courage to welcome our thoughts and feelings to sit with us, to be with us, we step into our Divinity and realize we are more powerful than our fears.

Transcript

Let's start by taking a deep breath in.

Exhale and let go of everything that came before this moment.

Letting go of everything that is to come after.

Bringing all of your attention and awareness to your breath.

As you create a rhythm in and out.

This is a meditation of practicing,

Allowing and accepting all that is.

So often when we try to fight our thoughts or feelings,

They become bigger,

Scarier,

Or more consuming.

But before we sit with ourselves exactly as we are,

I want you to call for the energy of your crone.

This is the wise woman,

Wise man,

Wise being that lives deep inside of you.

It is the energy of someone or something that has lived thousands of years.

They have experienced everything.

They walk with peace.

Sometimes a grin of inner knowing that all of our fear is really no big deal.

They know that you will get through it to the other side.

They know you're just having a human experience.

Call forward your crone.

See and feel them as a part of you.

There's a freedom,

A compassion,

And an ease for which they can hold space for the fear in our world.

So see yourself sitting with them,

Lying with them,

Or them becoming you,

You becoming them.

And as you sit in silence,

Allow all of your attachments to come forward.

All of your thoughts and feelings,

Your fears,

Your worries,

Even your to-do list.

Whatever is coming up for you,

Allow it to be.

And practice being the crone,

Watching,

Observing,

Welcoming,

But not attaching.

You may even find yourself saying,

Welcome fear,

Sit with me.

I see you.

Use the separation of getting pulled into the story,

Keeping yourself on the outside,

Looking in,

Unattached,

Unafraid.

And if at any time you get too lost in the story,

Take a big deep breath in and see your crone.

And practice being the crone,

Watching,

Observing,

And understanding.

And practice being the crone.

And practice being the crone.

And practice being the crone.

And practice being the crone.

And practice being the crone.

And practice being the crone.

And practice being the crone.

And practice being the crone.

And practice being the crone.

And practice being the crone.

Imagine the energy of the crone,

Swirling a cocoon around your body,

Your spirit,

And your mind of wisdom and light.

The crone knows this is a difficult practice to just be with exactly how we feel,

Exactly as we are.

The crone reminds you the more you practice,

The easier it will become.

And at any time you can call on them.

You can embody the energy and wisdom of personal freedom.

Make your crone with you through your day,

Your week,

Your month.

Remembering at any time you can return to this place that lives deep within you.

Begin to bring your attention and awareness back to your body and the space that you're in.

Slowly leaving the other realm.

Giving thanks for your practice and the wisdom that lives inside of you.

And practice being the crone.

And practice being the crone.

I loved that! As someone who identifies as a Crone, I too have learned to welcome fear, to listen to what it needs to teach me, and to learn how to move through it. Thank you.

From my experience, the word and concept of crone has always been negative. This takes it out of the mud and shines a beautiful light on it And as you say, crones can be feminine or masculine
