If you've ever felt afraid to be seen,
To speak your truth,
Or felt like it's safer to stay small,
This may not belong to you.
This meditation is for healing the witch wound,
The fear of prosecution,
The silencing carried out through the feminine line,
And today we begin to release it.
And as we sit in meditation and we get comfortable,
You may hear the purrs of my own familiar,
Who may wish to share some of her vibrational healing with you.
Please get comfortable and settle in for the journey and the healing that is about to take place.
Gently closing your eyes and taking a slow breath in through the nose and exhaling through the mouth.
And feeling that with each breath your body begins to soften.
There is nothing requiring your attention in this moment.
You can focus on yourself and on the reasons you were guided to be here today.
As you breathe,
Bringing your awareness down into your body,
Your heart,
Your hips,
The soles of your feet.
And as you breathe,
You feel the breath travel down your body,
All the way down to the soles of the feet,
Anchoring you,
Supporting you,
As you are held by the earth.
Now there is a reason that you were guided here today.
And you can perceive that somewhere within you,
There is a wound that doesn't belong to you.
And somewhere within you,
There may be a memory,
Not just from where this wound has shown up in your own life,
But a wound that has been carried through the generations.
Generations of silencing,
Of judging,
Of misinterpretation,
Of misinterpreting your gifts,
And spaces that made you feel unsafe for how powerful you are.
This is the witch wound.
And staying connected to your breath throughout this journey,
Remembering that you are anchored,
Knowing that you are safe,
You sit within a circle of protection,
A ring of pure white light that facilitates this journey safely and gently.
This journey will not take you anywhere that you are not ready to go.
Sinking into the dark space beneath your eyelids and casting open your inner eye,
You are walking through a dark forest.
The earth is damp beneath your bare feet.
The air is cool.
And there is a mist surrounding you as you walk.
And as you walk through the forest,
You know exactly where to go and exactly who you are.
You are ready to meet.
Deeper and deeper into the forest.
You are ready to meet the part of you that learned that it's not safe to be seen.
Ahead you can see her.
A past version of you from another life or perhaps an ancestor.
Holding the memory of persecution.
Notice how she looks.
How she feels.
There's no need to fix anything.
Only witness.
You may feel grief here.
Fear.
Anger.
Let this emotion move.
Let it be safe.
Let it be seen.
Let it be felt.
Perhaps for the first time.
Now gently and when you feel ready,
Step towards her and let her know it is safe now.
You are allowed to exist.
Your voice is sacred.
You wrap her in your arms and in your own light.
Drawing her back into your body until she becomes this reclaimed,
This lost part of you.
You may feel something shift.
A quiet strength is restored.
The grief of remembering has shifted.
That your sensitivity,
Your intuition,
Your voice were never wrong.
They were simply feared.
And as you stand in the forest,
The ancestor or the past version of you that has become one with your own body stands with you and within you under the light of the luminous full moon.
And as the moonlight shines down on you,
You feel your power return.
You feel restored as though this were your birthright.
Because it is.
This power has always been within you.
It has been waiting to be acknowledged.
Waiting to be forgiven.
And returned to you.
Bringing your awareness back into the space.
As you call your energy back from the forest and into the present moment.
Maybe taking some time as we come out of this practice to journal the wound that has been healed in this moment.
Or maybe what needs to be returned to for deeper and further healing.
Acknowledging the strength and the power that it took to confront this pain today.
And recognizing the transformation that can happen when we confront these wounds and bring them into the light.
Opening your eyes when you're ready.
Returning to the present day,
The present time.
Knowing what a gift and what a wonder you are to this world.
