Become aware of your breathing.
The whole body breathing and renewing.
Feel your body being breathed.
Feel the movement within your body.
The expansion of your lungs.
Inhale through your nose and feel the lungs inflate.
Inhale long and gently through your mouth and become aware of the lungs as they deflate.
Short inhale through the nose.
Long exhale through the mouth.
Inhale and exhale.
Inhale and exhale.
Now gently place your hands on your belly,
Touching the middle finger of your right hand to the middle finger of your left.
Breathe into your belly.
Inhale and exhale.
Notice the movement of your belly.
Notice the separation of your fingers as you inhale.
And notice your fingers come together as you exhale.
Inhale and exhale.
Inhale and exhale.
Inhale and exhale.
Now gently place your hands on your thighs or in a comfortable position.
Become aware of the state of your body.
Become aware of the state of your mind.
Become aware of normal breathing patterns.
Feel your body being breathed.
You are not alone.
You are safe.
You are secure.
You are settled.
