Today I will guide you through a quick body scan and then bring you into a deep meditation.
We'll begin today by finding a quiet place where you may lie down and be uninterrupted.
This time is for you to go inward.
Meditation especially sound meditation can bring forward uncomfortable energy,
Stagnant emotions trapped in your body.
Certain instruments build intensity and you may feel anxiety or uncomfortable feelings coming forth.
Just know whatever comes up is normal and that you're safe.
And this is blocked energy that needs to be released.
There will be ambient moments to bring in peace,
Love and calmness.
Now that you're comfortable,
Begin by taking a deep breath in and exhale.
Another deep breath in,
Feeling your belly,
Feeling your belly and exhale,
Fully letting go of the breath.
Then another deep inhale,
Feeling your stomach rising and your body becoming more calm.
And a big exhale,
Letting go of all the stress.
Continue this breathing on your own and notice the tension in your feet,
In your ankles,
Just relaxing,
Letting go of any worry,
Carrying up to your legs,
To your knees,
Any stored stress.
Letting go,
Feeling your knees get looser,
Going up your legs.
Our legs do so much for us.
Relaxing,
Saying a moment of thanks for everything our body does for us.
Take a deep breath in,
Feeling it rising in your belly and exhale,
Softening your body.
Relaxing and letting go,
Up to your chest.
Your chest is where a lot of anxiety is stored in the body.
Take another deep breath in and let go,
Forgetting about your day,
Forgetting about what you have to do later.
Something you said,
Just letting go of all of that anxiety and tension.
Up to your shoulders,
Another area where we store a lot of stress and tension.
Another deep breath in,
Breathing into those shoulders.
And a deep exhale,
Letting go.
Into your arms,
To your hands,
Your fingertips,
Your wrists,
All areas that hold a lot of stress and physical labor with the technology we use.
Back up to your shoulders and your neck.
Relax your face.
Another deep breath in,
Feeling your belly.
And exhale,
Letting go,
Melting wherever you are,
Your body feeling more heavy.
Your chin.
Relax your jaw.
All the way up to your face,
Any tension,
Letting go.
And up to the top of your head,
Fully relaxed,
Knowing that this time is for you to go inward.
This time is for you to let go.
