Gently close your eyes and take a few nice deep breaths.
Just allowing your body to relax.
Feeling a wave of relaxation flowing from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet.
Breathe in relaxation to any part of your body that needs it.
Now imagine that you are standing at the edge of a large jungle.
And in the center of that jungle is everything you want out of life.
The physical things like clothes and a home and a healthy body.
As well as non-physical things like love and joy.
But you have to make your journey through the jungle to get to that.
So take a deep breath and begin your journey through the jungle.
What is it like as you make your way through the jungle?
What is the temperature?
What are the smells?
What are the colors and the sights that you see?
How are you feeling?
Are you alone or is there someone else with you?
Continue making your way through the jungle in any way you can.
Do you see or hear any animals?
You continue making your way through the jungle getting closer and closer to the center.
Where everything that you want out of life is waiting for you.
The material or the physical things as well as the immaterial things.
You are getting closer and closer to the center and finally you are there.
You are at the center of the jungle.
You look around and see everything that is there for you.
You see the physical things like a house,
A car.
There may be symbols for immaterial things like a heart symbolizing love or a flower for joy.
It is so exciting.
You slowly walk around the center of the jungle appreciating everything that's there for you.
Touching,
Feeling.
Is there anything you want that you don't see?
If not,
Then create it.
Continue to walk around the center appreciating all that's there for you.
And now it's time to leave the center of the jungle.
But before you do,
Decide what do you want to take with you right now.
Take a few moments to gather it up and when you're ready,
Begin your journey back to the edge of the jungle.
The journey back out seems to take much less time than the journey in.
So rather quickly,
You are there back at the edge of the jungle.
How was the journey and how do you feel?
What have you brought back with you?
When you feel ready,
Bring your attention back to this room,
This time and this place.
Stretch and then slowly open your eyes.
And if possible,
Take a few minutes to write down what this journey was like.
This journey through the jungle represents our journey through life as seen by the unconscious mind.
And in some way,
It reflects your life and how you have lived it up until now.
What is waiting for you in the center reflects what you feel you deserve.
If you couldn't bring it out with you right now,
Perhaps it's not the right time for you.
Or maybe you feel you don't deserve it at the moment.
So just notice how your jungle journey was,
What was in the center and what you brought back with you.
No judgment,
Just an awareness.
