Welcome to this guided meditation for grounding and well-being.
Please sit comfortably.
Place your feet on the ground or on the floor.
Try and keep your spine straight to ease your breathing.
Please close your eyes.
On an inhale,
Fill your belly up with as much air as you can.
And on your exhale,
Let go of everything.
Let go of your worries.
Let go of your thoughts.
Let go of your stress.
Feel how a wave of relaxation is coming over you.
Let's do that a few more times.
Let's inhale.
And with your inhale,
Bring awareness into your body.
As you exhale,
Let go a little bit more.
Inhale,
Being aware of your body,
Staying in the here and the now.
Exhale and relax.
Relax.
Inhale again.
Fill your lungs and stay in this moment.
Exhale,
Relax and let go.
You can now start breathing in your own tempo.
And start being aware of the top of your head.
Imagine that there's a golden light coming straight from the universe,
Straight to the top of your head.
The top of your head is the entry point for the golden light.
That golden light is the universal life energy.
That light is bringing you healing,
Relaxation and joy.
Your head is connected to the universe through that light.
Feel it now,
Filling your entire head with this lovely golden,
Warm light.
That's bringing you healing and joy and warmth.
Feel now how the light is moving down to your face,
Your forehead,
Your eyes,
Your eyebrows relaxing,
Your nose,
Filling your ears with that golden light,
Your mouth relaxing,
Just feeling happy and filled with this golden light,
Your chin,
Your jaw relaxing.
Now feel how this light is moving like a wave down your neck and to your shoulders,
Still connected to the universe,
Coming straight out of the universe into your body.
Feel how the warmth and joy is easing up any tension that you might have in your neck and in your shoulders,
Connected to the universe.
That light is now moving down to your arms,
Into your hands and your fingers.
Everything feels so relaxed,
Warm and comfortable.
Now the golden light is moving down further into your body.
It's like a beam coming from above you and now it's moving into your lungs and your chest,
Filling it with relaxation,
Joy and healing,
Letting go of tensions,
Letting go of any worries for the future.
Now the light is moving into your belly,
Into the place right under your navel.
That place is called the Hara.
The Hara is a center for energy in your body.
The Hara helps you heal,
Makes you feel even more relaxed and it's making you feel warm and happy.
Now from the Hara,
The golden light is moving down to your pelvic area and your hips.
We carry a lot of stress in this section of our bodies.
As the golden light is moving into this area of your body,
Feel how it's helping you release any tension,
Any stress or dis-ease.
Recognize how the golden light is helping you add a feeling of warmth and relaxation to this area.
And it feels so good.
The golden light is sending healing and warmth to this part of your body that carries your entire body and determines the steps that you make.
That area of your body does a lot of work for you on a daily basis.
Let it relax now.
Let it feel the good vibes of the healing golden light.
Your body deserves it.
The light is now traveling down your thighs and to your knees,
Making them feel so good and relaxed.
Now you feel the wave moving down your legs and to your feet.
Your whole body is now feeling relaxed,
Warm and happy.
Now that we have our bodies filled with this wonderful,
Universal golden light,
Let's pick a place to store it.
Let's come back to that place about two inches under your navel.
That place is called the Hara.
The Hara is a center for energy in the body.
It helps you stay grounded.
Feel now how the Hara is connecting to Mother Earth.
The energy is coming from the center of Mother Earth and it flows directly into your Hara.
The Hara is storing your energy and supplying it to your entire body.
Feel the connection to the Earth and the Universe.
The energy and golden light coming from the Universe into the crown of your head and from the center of Mother Earth directly to your seat,
Your Hara.
Connect with both of them at the same time.
Feel how balancing that is,
How grounding it is,
Giving you all the energy you need.
How grounding it is,
Giving you balance,
Giving you confidence,
Bringing you joy.
Imagine now that the energy that's coming from Mother Earth is forming like roots from the Earth to your center,
Forming a strong connection to Mother Earth,
Grounding you even more.
This incredible energy boost coming to you from the Universe and from Mother Earth is providing you with grounding,
Awareness,
Feeling the light from the Universe through the crown of your head,
Crown of your head,
Feeling the energy from Mother Nature through her center moving into your Hara,
Forming those roots,
Connecting with you.
Now at this very relaxed and aware state,
Let's spend the next few minutes focusing on our gratitude towards the Universe and our Earth.
These two powerful elements or forces are here for us day in and day out.
They provide us with everything that we need.
They ask for nothing in return.
Recognize how it makes you feel to know that the Universe and the Earth are providing you with unconditional love.
Bring that feeling of gratitude into your mind and into your heart.
Spend a few moments thinking about what the Earth and the Universe is bringing to you,
Loved ones,
Sunshine and rain to make things grow,
Oxygen to breathe,
A place to call home.
Extend your gratitude to the Earth and the Universe.
Feel how they send you love in return.
Now as we prepare to come back,
Take a deep breath in and on your exhale,
Start being aware of the room.
Wiggle your toes,
Wiggle your fingers,
And when you're ready,
You can open your eyes.
