Through mindful and observatory practices, like watching the breath and visualizing the color green at heart center, we'll ease the body and mind into a peaceful state. Transcript

Good evening.

Tonight we're going to practice a calming,

Restful meditation.

Allowing us to shake the day off and release nothing that we may still be holding onto from the day.

Creating space to receive the night.

Healing energy of our yin.

If your eyes are not already closed,

I'll invite you to close your eyes now.

Bringing the right hand to the belly.

With a watchful and observatory eye.

See if you can follow the rhythm of the breath.

Just as if you were to watch tide of the ocean come to shore and then recede away.

Allowing the belly to naturally expand as you breathe in air.

And then naturally soften as you exhale.

Bringing the left hand to your heart center.

And allowing the warmth of your hand to penetrate your skin,

Bones,

Tissue.

All the way into your heart.

And not just your physical heart,

But your energetic heart.

Anahata chakra.

Visualize an emerald green light emanating from the center.

Stretching out into your aura.

Enveloping you in a green emerald bubble of love.

Allow the center to be open,

Spacious.

Allow the center to receive and to give and receive and give and receive and give infinitely.

Notice the subtle lift of the chest as you take air in.

And the gentle fall of the chest as you exhale.

Let's take a few breaths now.

Perhaps adding a sigh.

Settle here for a few moments.

Observing the breath.

Observing the gentle stretch of the belly.

Observing the subtle rise and fall of the chest.

All happening inside your green emerald bubble.

Vibrating energy of love into your being as you send this vibration of love out into the world,

The universe,

And across time and space.

May everything coming to you come from a place of love.

And may your actions,

Thoughts,

Words,

Experiences move from a place of love.

Let's bring the palms together at heart center.

Slightly tucking the chin in towards your fingertips.

Bowing into your heart center.

Honoring the divine light,

The infinite space that is you.
