Hi,
Welcome to this sound yoga and mantra practice in the beautiful Palos Verdes coastal region of California.
I'm going to chant the Aum sound in this practice,
A beautiful,
Powerful connection that involves a sound that connects us with the cosmos.
The frequency.
We can chant Om or Om.
We're going to do the long version of the chant in this particular practice.
And it has sounds that attune us and assist both the mental.
And the emotional bodies,
And that's part of the incredible power of the vowel sound.
In this particular practice.
So finding.
.
.
Whatever posture.
Seated position.
You can even be lying down if it actually suits you.
And.
.
.
Notice how you feel just in a relatively short practice of this very powerful but intentional sound.
When we make the own.
A-U-M.
On the M,
I'm going to invite you to float your tongue to come to rest on the roof of your mouth.
Om.
And it's more of a technique to help take you inwards,
Into the inner connection.
So we're going to invite the sound to be part of a meditative practice.
Finding posture that suits you.
Having the intention to let go.
Of whatever is going on in your world,
In your day,
And be present.
In this moment.
Listening.
Inwards.
Notice.
Your thoughts?
Let them pass.
Notice your breath.
Be thankful.
Feel your connection with whatever part of you is in contact with the earth.
Let the weight of your body.
Soften and sink a little bit.
Know that you're supported.
Tuning now.
Sound of the drone.
Imagine you can ride the current inwards.
And when we invite the sound,
Oh.
Let it be an emerging trend.
From within you,
That this sound arises and comes through.
Your expression of your heart.
And all of your being,
It's your connection.
To all of creation.
Inhaling.
Is a silent pause.
When you complete the M.
Feel the silence.
Same sound.
And again.
Emerging from within.
Follow the sound current inwards.
And that place of connection.
For as long as it best serves you.
Take that vibration with you through the day.
