Hello and welcome to this guided practice called Decluttering with Mindfulness.
As you engage in the process of clearing,
You will use mindfulness to notice what arises within your mind and body.
By doing this,
You create space not just in your surroundings,
But also within yourself.
So I invite you now to find a quiet,
Comfortable space where you can begin your decluttering practice.
Take a few moments to look around and notice any items that no longer serve you or are simply taking up space.
And before you begin,
Take a deep breath and ground yourself in the present moment.
Sit comfortably and take a few deep,
Slow breaths.
Breathe in through your nose,
Hold for a moment,
And exhale slowly through your mouth.
Let your breath deepen with each inhale and let go of any tension with each exhale.
Repeat this mantra as you begin your cleaning.
May I live with ease and comfort.
May I live with ease and comfort.
Let go of any distractions and come fully into the present moment just as you are.
Imagine the act of decluttering not just as cleaning your physical space,
But as creating mental and emotional clarity.
And as you settle in,
Begin to turn your awareness inward.
Listen to your body.
How does it feel in this moment?
Are there areas of tension?
Is the clutter making you feel tense?
And if so,
What are the areas that are feeling tense in your body right now?
Simply notice these sensations without judgment.
And say it out loud to yourself,
I'm listening deeply to the sensations in my body,
Welcoming whatever arises.
And with each breath,
Imagine that you are releasing tension,
Making room for calm,
Just as you will do with your physical space.
And allow yourself to feel a sense of openness.
And before you begin decluttering your space,
Set an intention.
What do you want to create more space for in your life?
Is it peace,
Clarity,
Creativity,
Connection,
Or rest?
Visualize what this space looks and feels like.
And allow this intention to guide your practice.
I create space for blank in my life.
Take a moment to connect deeply with your intention,
Allowing it to resonate within you.
Now gently begin to focus on the first item you wish to declutter.
Pick up the object and instead of rushing,
Pause.
Take a few moments to listen deeply to your thoughts,
Feelings,
And physical sensations.
And ask yourself,
Does this item still bring me joy or serve a purpose?
How does my body feel when I hold it?
Do I feel lighter or heavier when I think about letting it go?
As you hold each item,
Listen not only to your inner voice,
But also to your body's response.
Notice if any emotions or memories arise.
Let yourself fully experience them and gently ask yourself if it is time to let go.
And repeat this mantra.
I listen to what this item has to teach me.
I allow it to go when it no longer serves me.
And as you decide to release each item,
Express gratitude for it.
Thank it for its time in your life,
Its service,
Or its lessons.
Acknowledge that letting go of things creates space for something new that is more aligned with your present self.
Say it out loud.
I am grateful for what this item has brought into my life.
I release it with love and gratitude.
With each item you release,
Notice how your internal space begins to feel.
Is there a sense of lightness,
Peace,
Clarity?
Allow yourself to feel these shifts within your body and mind.
Continue this process with each item,
Remembering that with each release you are creating space for what matters most.
And as you continue decluttering,
Listen to any thoughts or feelings that may arise.
Are there any judgments or attachments that come up?
Simply observe them without attachment.
Acknowledge them and release them as you would any physical object that no longer serves you.
And say this out loud.
I listen to my inner voice with compassion.
I allow my thoughts and feelings to arise and I release them with ease.
And when you feel ready to conclude,
Take a moment to reflect on the space you have created,
Not only in your surroundings but also within yourself.
Take a deep breath and honor the clarity and lightness you have cultivated.
I am creating space for peace,
Clarity,
Creativity,
Connection,
And joy in my life.
I embrace the freedom that comes with release.
And now to finish,
Take a few final deep breaths,
Grounding yourself once more.
And as you open your eyes,
Notice how the space around you feels.
Feel the sense of openness within you as well.
And carry the sense of clarity and openness with you as you continue through your day,
Knowing that you have created both external and internal space for what truly matters.
This meditation allows you to approach decluttering with mindfulness and deep listening,
Not just clearing your space but also freeing your mind and spirit.
May you live with ease and comfort.
May you continue to create space for peace,
Clarity,
Creativity,
Connection,
And joy in your life.
Thank you for joining me today and I wish you a wonderful day ahead.
