Find a quiet place where you can sit comfortably.
And if you feel safe and comfortable,
Close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in and slowly out.
And let go of any distractions as you allow your heart to focus on God's presence.
As you center your heart on God's presence,
Breathe in deeply and exhale slowly.
As you continue to breathe,
Imagine the presence of God surrounding you like a warm light.
He is with you right now,
Just as he's always been.
And whisper to yourself,
God is here with me,
God is here with me,
God is here with me,
And with God with you.
Think back to a time where you felt God's presence in your life.
Maybe it was a moment of unexpected provision.
Maybe it was healing.
Or maybe it was a peace in the middle of a storm.
Just pause for a moment and recall that feeling.
All the details and the way he showed up for you.
Now ask yourself,
How has God been faithful to me?
And whisper to yourself,
Lord,
I remember your goodness.
And allow yourself to remember.
Now begin to meditate on God's promises from his word.
In Deuteronomy 31 verse 6,
He promises,
I will never leave you nor forsake you.
In Matthew 28 verse 20,
I am with you always,
Even to the end of the age.
In Jeremiah 31 verse 3,
I have loved you with an everlasting love.
Let these words settle deep in your heart.
Knowing that God has always been faithful.
And he always will be.
So pause and whisper to yourself,
I trust in your promises,
Lord.
I trust in your promises,
Lord.
Now in your heart,
Begin to thank God.
Thank him for his love.
Thank him for his provision.
Thank him for his protection.
Knowing even in difficult times,
He has been there.
Say to yourself,
Thank you,
Lord,
For all you have done.
I remember,
And I am grateful.
I remember,
And I am grateful.
Now take another deep breath in.
And exhale slowly.
And feel God's peace filling your heart.
Replacing any worry or fear.
As you find rest in his love.
Whisper to yourself.
You are my God.
And I will not forget your faithfulness.
You are my God.
And I will not forget your faithfulness.
When you're ready,
Begin to slowly open up your eyes.
Carrying this sense of remembrance and gratitude with you throughout your day.
Remember this.
God's faithfulness never ends.
So as you go about your day,
Keep remembering his goodness.
And let it strengthen your faith.
Amen.
And thanks be to God.
